Description
This is the AT-SE made by DonCorleone with a design from Fractalsponge. A special heavy walker with a higher speed.
Somebody asked about the best weapon againts these beast, the best is buy them with the abilities from some heroes as Leia or Lando by example. When it happens to you......you will be crazy trying destroy them. Have fun.;)
Its legs Looks wierd.
Because its fanon, but still.. Looks cool to me.
I always wanted a giant two legged walker that could run really fast :)

What's AT SE stand for?
These units do not exist in Star Wars universe. Better to make canonical units like these

i'd like to see that one in a mod, but the head modder is free to chose wether he wants cannon or made up units in it:)
besides i'd lose my hobby if it were all cannon:ddd
If I had added only cannon units.......the mod would be very small. The best from SW Universe are the possibilities and this is one of them.
And yes the AT-AR was added to the mod many time ago. The model was made by DonCorleone.
After it, probably I should look on other sides, perhaps some Black Sun and Rebel units but if you take a look on the forum from my own site, you will discover more surprises because usually I do not publish every new things here.
The AT-AR is already in the Alliance mod. Nomada has added in almost all of the cannon units. His mod is one of the best because of that.
I like the AT-SE. Do you know what you are going to make next Nomada? Something from Don Corleone or something else?
The cannon is way to heavy for such a walker. If it shoot the thing falls on his back by the backpunch of the cannon.
If that were to happen, it would get back up with the help of its three knees :3
Ahhh, the work of Fractal sponge makes it into a star wars mod. The AT-SE is a intresting design, but i have always thought that the legs where more like "chicken legs" than normal homosaipens bipedal legs, more like the legs of a AT-ST or the Mad-Cat mech from battletech.
This is because you have not animated the model and the position from legs on screenshots is the default start position for walk as other at-at.
On few words, the model can not walk as a chicken, the design was not thought for this.

And then from Lack of Resources was released without his bottom Legs.. i mean... why would a Walker need 4 Feets if he doesent has a *** to kick.. right?
The articulation of the legs looks backward. The knee should be a reverse joint, like the AT-ST. It can be seen in this picture here: Vastempire.com
The model currently had a forward knee joint which is making it look awkward. Nomada, if you reverse the bend of the legs, it should look much better.
This is a complete error because a walker can not walk with the position of the legs that Fractalsponge made on a first moment.
Before you answer again, I recomend you study how a AT-ST walks on game.;)
And I needed a lot of work for add this design, by the moment I do not wait work more on it.
But the screenshots that you see are from a walker stopped, when it walks, the legs are on other position.

TBH I think Nomada Firefox here, has made the best out of an awkward fannon design. It looks awkward yes, but with out being able to make new animations for this typ of walker from scratch I don't see how it can improve. Still its still unique too.. always a bonus in any mod to have some thing a little unique about it.
Just to make a point here. The original design did not have four joints in the legs, just three. A fantastic design done by Fractal (wonder if permission was requested to use the design), but a terrible reproduction. What the hell happened with the textures!!??!! I'm just glad mine looks much more like the original version and didn't end up looking like this.
Nice though Nomada seeing as I asked you if you wanted the one I did and you said no, how these things make a sudden appearance. Care to explain that one??
Oh and for clarification this isn't an AT-SE, Fractal himself called this an AT-HW so seeing as the design is his I think you should stick tot he original designation.
