I doubt it, isn't like if there was the chance I wouldn't want to go for it though... I actually would rewrite the zombie AI from the ground in first place, going for a simpler and better performing entity that could jump into things, use ladders, etc.

I may sound greedy but could you add more zombie models, like a woman and the other guy.

Besides that I love it! you guys have done a lot for this MOD and ModDB

Why does every zombie mod now reference DayZ or try to BE DayZ? There's still No More Room in Hell and Zombie Panic: Source which both in many ways are much more polished, interesting and often more terrifying products.

Simple: this zombie mode is based in similar concepts seen in day z, which really moved forward the zombie genre. Loot respawns follow similar logic, zombies are connected to loot in some ways, and humans can kill each other (this is more tightly controlled here), among other things.

NMRiH is very slow paced (almost painfully slow) with small linear environments, Dayz is the zombie game, while Warz is a rushed product just trying to get in on the action & leech of Dayz hence why it borrows the name style & alot of gameplay elements.
Zombie Panic Source is PvP, so it automatically fails compared to the rest of the zombie games. Because theres no zombie AI, theres never enough zombies even if you manage to find a full server.
Fistful of Frags is pretty decent although its AI could use some work, if you love westerns then its a automatic favorite.

I think you miss the point of NMRIH and ZP:S. NMRIH is a horror game first and foremost. It's a difficult game and it's able to make slow zombies scary again. DayZ isn't perfect, far from it in it's current state.

F*^#it I don't like your opinions on zombie games quite rankly.
NMRIH is slow, has mechanics that all make sense and blend together well. DayZ on the other hand is just zombies and items placed into ARMA II CO (which Dynamic Zombie Sandbox did long before that) and it's not a mod built from the ground up like ZP:S and NMRIH are.

Also PVP is bad? I think you just want an easy game.

I never said PvP is "bad", just when it comes to a zombie game. Quite the opposite of what you say, ZP:S fails because there just isn't enough zombies to be scary or difficult. NRMiH may be a horror game but I never felt scared just bored to tears.
Also I know Dayz isn't standalone yet & has quite a few bugs, glitches & lacking purpose to its large world but it has revolutionized the genre. Its the first MMO zombie sandbox, it has survival mechanics that has hefty punishment for dying & psychological aspects where your friends can turn on you & you don't know who to trust. Actually I know very well that there are no super good zombie 'games' yet, Some of the really good ones aren't out yet like Codename Deadmatter, Contagion, Project Zomboid, Mortewood Plaza...
not counting a few fun singleplayer ones like Dead Rising or Stubbs the Zombie which are just for a laugh really.

And as for Warz, so much controversy but before I start with that I would say its just a boring game. First the lies, they say it can have upto 100 players, I see servers with upto 50. It says theres skill progression, there is none yet. It says it has PvP servers, it doesn't yet. Thats why it got removed off steam... the guys behind steam don't even check the game. It looks bad, it runs terribly, you can't swim, the sprint is very slow & you run out of stamina fast.

Okay, I complained about it being a DayZ homage or whatever but I have to say you guys did a really, really good job with this mode. It's probably one of the easier ways to get old vets who may have grown sick of it to try it again and tell their friends about the mod.

I only have a small number minor issues with the mod and those are as follows:(the first 2 are the more major ones)
1.Coldblooded, the biggest and in many ways best map for this mode has had strange problems with people trying to connect to it and failing or when they try to join it crashes their game.
2. Zombies seem to have a weird problem with walking off of structures and as a result will often get trapped on roofs in places like the towns of coldblooded and it's kind of non-threatening as a result.
3. Would it be possible to allow the server owners to increase server time on the mode past 30 minutes in the create server menu? I know you can do that with mp_timelimit but i'd prefer to see if there was a way to do it from the create server menu.
4. Ammo boxes can replenish health but tend to drop a little too often, and as a result you'll spend a little bit more time that average with a very large ammount of health and bullets. If there was a way to decrease the frequency that the boxes drop that would be cool.

Great mode though guys. I just wanted to put my opinion out there.

Hey, 1 is definitively fixed, the fix will be released along the upcoming week. I know about 2, there are some mechanism to prevent it but they don't always work. I'll try to perfect them. I'll look into 3 too. You can customize drop rate parameter along other many variables in each map .cfg (/cfg folder). Thx for sharing your thoughts :)

Looking into that right now, and I was just wondering what exactly what the fof_coop2teams_duration value means. I've mainly been increasing max zombie count along with a small 0.05 increase in how much damage zombies take to compensate for every 5 I add.

Description

We are featuring some zombie AI and a few features specifically designed for this mode. As it was a sort of small scale Day Z.

- Engagement rules: Vigilantes team only can damage Desperados (no FF allowed), while Desperados team can kill anyone including other desperados wihout penalty
- How to get guns: find highlighted crates (use melee to break them)
- How to avoid Z's: stay ducked to decrease detection distance, peek around corners without showing completely
- Gunfire will attract near zombies, specially from rifles/shotguns and bigger revolvers (more powerful, more noise)

How to start: Set custom filter in game creation menu and load fof_desperados, fof_presidio or fof_coldblood

Also check each map .cfg in /cfg folder to customize many options
