The update server from the First Strike launcher, or one of the download mirrors? Ensure you have allowed the updater accces through the firewall and it has admin access if using vista or windows 7.

also, my CD is damaged is there a chance you could make a NO CD fix for this mod? as far as i know no disk fixes are not illegal so i don't see the problem with it at all...

theshed = no First Strike is not currently compatible with the BF2142 1.51 beta patch. The mod will not support the beta patch until it is publically released (though I can assure you that we have experimented with 1.51 and the mod will be fully functional with it on release).

isa0005 = No it does not need the Northern Strike expansion. We will not make a nocd fix for the mod to function with BF2142. No disk fixes ARE illegal as they effectively bypass the games security and copy protection, an act which is illegal and against copyright laws. BF2142 patch 1.51 includes a nocd fix (this is legal as it is issued by the copyright owners) but is not currently supported by FS as the patch is still in beta.

No, that is still only a link to the Beta patch. When it is officially released we will be supporting it.

First Strike now works with the BF2142 1.51 patch.

I NEED to know BEFORE installing BF2142 and DLing and installing this mod yet again, ARE THERE SERVERS AVAILABLE??? if so, does ANYONE play this, I have gone through this so many times its really starting to get to me. I LOVE this mod OMG i want to play it like we used to, there was always a server brimming with folks who would team up and play for hours upon hours.. I loved galactic warfare, the BF1 SW mod too, it is dead as well. I am starting DL of 1.5 please please please someone respond to this comment, and please if there are servers where people play, leave me an IP addy? Pretty please?

Hi i have downloaded first strike 1.5 from two different servers, both times i run it i get"Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include
incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the
installer's author to obtain a new copy." but all the files are good, im running windows 7 64 bit..can you help?

Hi again it installed with command prompt/ now when it updates im getting "404:error downloading publauncher0.0.8.3.zip."?

Apologies, missed your messages, did you manage to get it sorted okay in the end? If you post on the message board on the main page for FS on ModDB you're more likely to get an answer as we monitor that more frequently.

If I buy 2142 on Origin will I be able to install this MOD?
