First Strike is a Star Wars total conversion modification for Battlefield 2142. The goal of First Strike is to totally immerse the players into the amazing universe of Star Wars by presenting the most accurate representations of famous Star Wars locales, weapons, and characters, and combining them with exciting, fast paced gameplay and features new to the Battlefield scene. Within this mod you'll find yourself as a soldier of the Galactic Empire or as a freedom fighter for the Rebel Alliance. You'll fight across lovingly detailed recreations of various Star Wars locations with a wide array of weapons and vehicles.

Description
Full installer for the new release of First Strike including three new maps.
First Strike v1.4 Changelog:
Weapons:
- Iron Sights properly do not have cross hairs
- Many new models and animations
- Some enhanced textures
Vehicles:
- TK between starfighters should be reduced/eliminated allowing for FF to be toggled back on if so desired.
- T-16 Skyhopper added.
- Snow Speeder damage reduced
- Atmospheric X-Wing and TIE Interceptor Added
Maps:
- Three new locations: Bandomeer Refinery Assault, Lok Wastelands, and Null Sensor Station
- Tweaks to existing locations: Ryloth, Yavin, Rhen Var, Endor, Mos Entha, Mos Espa, and Bestine
Visual:
- Many enhanced textures
- Lightmapped interiors for several locations
- Several new models for existing assets
- Custom shader support

My Nod32 AV said it was a WIN32/Statik Application inside it ...probally false alarm but what should I do?
There is no virus. Your antivirus might be reacting to the Launcher application, as it connects to the internet and modifies your First Strike files so it can update the game. Just tell your AV program to ignore the warning.

You guys really need to use some compression on these files. 1.12GB is just too much.
ohh and the file on fileshack has errors. My Computer cant reconize the file so i cant install it instead it leads me to find a program.
I'm new to modding 2142, does this game overwrite the real 2142? or does it just make another

Um when i join a server it crash's and i mean any server
is there any other mirrors cuz when i got to filefront it will say that it could not open the web page operation aborted. and they say you have complete controll over a computer hunph looks more like it controlls you.

I dont understand this, i play the game but when i join a server or start my own, it crashes as it finished loading also, when i update all the files say (Cannot Extract) and (File May Be Corrupt)

I just tried to dload the MOD and it quite when it was 75% done. MAYBE thats why its not that popular. This was from US7.dl.desura.com
