Quick update relating to unknown files being extracted from the FC2 archives and whether a later version of the unpacker/viewer is able to act as a work around for viewing the needed files for modding the guard spawn times and zones

Just a quick update on how the mod is going

At the moment the development has slowed down, this is mainly due to files being encrypted within the archives. Whenever I've tried extracting the archives, there is always anywhere between 30-150 or so files that are unrecognizable by the archive viewer end up in a folder called "__UNKNOWN" and are named files such as 3F4BDDF8, A196AC93 and 161F995A.

While searching in the files I have, I found references to files such as "scripts/default/SpawnConfig.lua", but I have not been able to find the files that they are referenced to.

I am pretty sure that some of the files relating the spawning of the enemies are in the __Unknown sections of the archives (i.e. the un-readble files)

I have got my hands on a more up to date version of the archive unpacker and am seeing if I get any less unknown files and if I can find what we all hope!

Cheers for watching and I hope to get a new release out soon!

Can you see the extensions of the unknown files?

They don't have extensions, they are literally just name "3F4BDDF8" etc. Most will open up in WordPad, but when there's literally 100s of them ranging anywhere from 5kb to 6mb then it's a drain to go through each and every one of them - especially when there is no indication as to which sub-folder the files should be in - all the unknown folders from an archive get lumped in one folder

I will keep trying and go through as many as I can before going insane haha

Actually scratch the "100s of unknown files", the worlds archive has come up with ~127000 unknown files haha
