Using just a web-camera, FaceOff makes your head part of the game!

FaceOff Paintball pits you off against an endless wave of paint ballers. Its features include...

leaning icon handycam icon webcam icon keys icon trophy icon free icon

  • LEANING: you can lean in and out of cover using either subtle head movements or traditional keystrokes
  • HANDY-CAM EFFECT: feel truly immersed through the inclusion of a head-driven handy-cam effect
  • ONLINE LEADERBOARD: compete against other players using the in-game leaderboard that updates as you take down your opponents
  • ACCESSIBLE: works using only standard webcam, meaning no specialised hardware, no markers and no setup
  • FREE: the game is completely free - all you need is a copy of a Source title*

* unfortunately, titles obtained through a hardware promotion do not include the required Source SDK base

I have a question, my laptop has a webcam but it's in the top of the screen, will i still be able to play this awesome looking mod properly? i was also hoping to use the head tracking in some of the other hl2 mods that i have, and maybe in Garry's Mod

Laptop webcam is ok. Head tracking in mods is possible if the mods don't replace game code. This won't work in Garry's Mod unless you make a DLL that exposes FaceAPI interface to Lua.

I just tried this and this is really cool. Makes everything feel more realistic. But it made game a bit more challenging because it took me some time to get used to it.

This seems like a very great game. If you could join Valve, you would be able to improve their games greatly.
