Storyline:
Countless battles rage the planet between GDI, Nod, and the Scrin. Monitoring the action from space the GDI command base picks up a rather weird signature. Fearing another Scrin attack they turn their attention to it but something different appears. A giant Galactic cruiser suddenly appears and is being perused by another cruiser. the first cruiser launches Capital Ships down to earth and then crash lands on the moon. The second cruiser does the exact same. What has just happened is the Sith and the GFA have arrived on earth and created a new all out war. GDI quickly find the Sith a threat as they are attacked by them but find GFA rather neutral. As the war rages on GDI becomes allies with GFA and they warn of the most destructive army in the universe may soon arrive and as they say. a mega cruiser warps in and launches hundreds of cruisers to earth. the RSA army starts destroying every army in it's way. The scrin seems to be their main target. now an all out war consuming the planet has awoken and the great tiberium war to end all Tiberium wars has started.

When Night Falls, the climax is unveiled.

Expanded Wars 2 is mostly a "Skirmish" mod, however, it works well in multiplayer as well. It will eventually have a campaign to go with the storyline of EW2, but do not expect that until some of the later releases.

Yeah, as many of you have noticed, I have unfortunately had to stop development on this project (Too many other things with life got in the way).

More or less as of recently however, I have been toying around with the project in terms of minor bug fixes, balancing passes, etc, and just adding in random stuff because I could (why not, right?)

If anyone is interested, I would be more than willing to release the mod's source code if people would like to play around with what I have, or to learn how I did some of the things I did.

i say do NOT get this mod unless u want to have to completely delete tib wars, reinstall it then have to find a patch to download to get the game browser back. this mod crashed terrible when u try and play as any of the new factions against the new factions!

dont know what i did, but started ur mod normally then when i started a skirmish it crashed and not i cannot go to the game browser anymore.

Fixed! Finally figured out what was wrong with the RSA Grandalle + Sith ST34. I'll probably out a little patch version soon to address this to complete your air arsenal for these two factions.

I'm going to go ahead and release my current (Unfinished) version on the Expanded Wars 2 page on my website. My current college schedule currently has me filled up leaving me pretty much no time to work on this and other projects I have.

I am aware that there are still some bugs that need to be addressed, but I'm just too busy to be able to work this and many of my other projects.

I will be coming back to this if my schedule opens up a bit more in the coming months.

sure thing, about all that's left for me to do for the 1.3.5 release is to patch up the sith/RSA fighter, and add a sith outpost.

Should have it done by mid-week.

I'll post the release on that site page when it's out since modDB takes a day or so to verify the files.
