Command & Conquer 5 Return of Scrin (MOD EDITION)

This MOD is a continuation from Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight.™
We all felt like our hearts and souls had been thrown away when the end of the Tiberian Twilight came to be. However, luckily, the CCS MOD Group has come to repair what has been done.

By making sense of the events of C&C4; and creating a storyline to fit (as best as is feasibly possible). Hey, what is the worst that can happen, we make a mess of it and someone else does it better. So, it's full steam ahead for us now as we blow the dust off of an old classic.

Taking things back to the beginning with the CCS campaign. Starting with a training exercise to get a feel for Command & Conquer again. The training exercise is based in 1993, two years before the first Tiberian war. After this you get to complete your first real mission, Operation: PATSUX.
For those who played this mission back in 1995, this should be a walk in the park (though not entirely due to some changes made to make things more advanced). For those who didn't play Operation: PATSUX, this may be a new experience. After the first mission is complete, you (as the character) are taken to a first person perspective in which you then choose who to wake up as.

You stay with the CCS and you wake up as a family man, David Ashmore, who, in the year 2069 is a Lieutenant commanding officer. David Ashmore is sent an encrypted message ordering him to cover for someone who is off sick. Later you find that the person you were covering for is missing, with no clues as to where he went.

You go with GDI and you wake up in a war zone, about to be hit an airstrike your character runs to a desk with a computer. You're expected to control a few AA Guns manually while redirecting power to and from the AA Guns. Your name (for the first GDI mission) is Private Mark White, which is the brother of Lance Corporal John White. John White is a man with very little to his name and near no prospects for the future.

You select NOD and you wake up in a prison cell, then a meal is provided. Contained within the meal is a bomb designed to assist in your escape. You then find your way out and do everything you need in order to survive.

FORGOTTEN FORCES SIGHTED

The Forgotten, otherwise Mutants, are building an Operation base of some kind, but it is unclear as to where they are getting their funding from.

Preliminary reports are stating that they are not the only people interested in gathering near our base in Y38, but we are unable to send scouts in or out of the base that we have in the region. We may call on you soon to eliminate any threats, if the base goes offline for whatever reason. Please be ready at any time, as there might be something larger at stake than we can imagine.

OPERATIONAL BLACK ZONE BASE

It would appear that there is an old ZOCOM Base that seems to be operational, it is not clear as to why that base is operating, but we are fearing the worst. Black Zone X3 is the grounds of an old Mountain range, before 1995, it was controlled by an Italian Mafia Group, but in 1993, the Group formed alliance with NOD. That same year, we encountered a rise of almost 300% in NOD Recruitment, and the Italian government declared a state of Emergency the following year.

The events of 1994 were devastating, and the country came to economic collapse by August 23 1994. After this, the United Nations authorised the Global Defence Committee. The GDC was meant to be a reasonably cheap organised alliance, designed to settle the cross-nation combat to engage solely against the upcoming threat.

THE GLOBAL DEFENCE COMMITTEE AND ITS GOALS

After the GDC failed, the GDI had very limited time to assemble bases across the globe. The plan was to construct a Network of bases that would control and conserve resources and their distribution, along with accomplishing would peace. It was known that the population could not sustain itself, and the plans for NASA to search for more planets was not going as successfully as needed.

In 1995, NASA declared Planetary Emergency as they discovered the Meteorite three weeks prior to its arrival. Upon examining the Meteorite, Dr Ignatio Mobius confirmed that it was the same Meteorite that the Egyptians stated would arrive. Though the Egyptians expected it to land 3 years earlier, there was no doubt that it was the same Meteorite.

After being questioned about it by Media Publications including the BBC, Dr Mobius denied that the Ancient Egyptians knew about the Meteorite. This lead to the Media swarming him about it until 2003, when he was said to of died shortly after direct exposure of Red Tiberian.

the cursor pack and mod don't work at all there no new factions

Check that you installed the MOD and cursor pack correctly.
I may not of added a great deal at this time, but the MOD is certainly working.

New factions are not yet fully playable, just working everything out.

Make a shortcut to CNC3.EXE (on the desktop), then change it to the bellow:

Target: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3\CNC3.exe" -modConfig "C:\Users\Owner\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\mods\CnC5V2016\CnC5V2016_0.016.skudef"

Start in: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Command & Conquer 3"

Note: The above values may have slight variations due to Operating system.

If you have problems with cursor pack(And you are sure you have placed it correctly), then try to copy content of file "CNC3_english_CnC5.SkuDef" into file "CNC3_english_1.9.SkuDef".
This helped me. (Otherwise I was not able to make cursor visible).

Thank you for your input, though I would strongly recommend that people make a Back-up of the 1.9.SkuDef file first if they need to do this...

would you get Cabal or marked of kane on this?

Ideas for marked of kane(cabal)
CABAL CORE DEFENDER=super unit
Cyborg commando(cnc 4)=hero of cabal
Avatar(cnc4)= the new avatar for marked of kane

CnC3 Avatar will be used, though you can expect a return of the Reaper (CnC4, with Missile upgrade from Tib-Sun).

As for sub-factions, it has been disused, but it is not practical to have Multi-Player Sub-Factions for every side.
Though, Campaign may include Sub-Faction special units and structures, but this is going to be reserved for later use.

Hello. I've installed Cursor Pack correctly, but my mouse cursor does not appear.
I have installed my game at this path: D:/Command & Conquer 3/
It's nessesary to install game there?
[DRIVE]/Program Files/[EA or Origin directory]/[Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars directory]

For your case, it would go into the 'D:/Command & Conquer 3'
It isn't common to have CnC3 outside of Program Files, but as it is in your case, then use your own directory (stated above).

Though, if the Cursor pack isn't working for you, please contact me with details of the issue, and I will custom build the SkuDef redirect for you.
