Description
This is the finished escalator. Well, pretty much finished; I'm sure I'm going to find something wrong with it.

I decided that the bottom-right shot bothers me a bit, so I'll just move the lamps =P
Bottom right is my favorite actually. Just fix that lumpy looking texture.

A combination of simple extrusion and beveling.
your attention to detail is amazing; the shoeprints on the escalator really adds a nice feel to it, although aren't most escalators' handrails glass, instead of concrete?
It's supposed to be metal, but I know what you mean. I'm going from reference here, so it's no entirely up to me.
