I like to announce EVE: RTS (work name) It's a mod about EVE Online developed by myself, featuring ships and other objects directly from the original Game. Models and Textures were extracted using TriExporter. CCP confirmed that I can use their Artwork. (see end of summary)

This Sceenshot shows a station under construction. It's nearly finished. The plan is to have 2-3 Stages of construction before you get the final station.

Description

I uploaded this shots to explain the new system. It's a combination of the previous ideas.

Now lets explain the gamemode.

You start in a sector having a bordergate and some ships.
Depending on the Map you could have a Base, Mining- / Tradestation or Researchstation

- Bases spawn with low health and need some time until they are full operational - they can be destroyed and have some weapons.
- The others are invulerable but captureable.

A sector is captured if you have at least one ship or object in there and no enemy is present. A Sector with no playerowned objects inside is neutral.
The owner of a sector gets all of it's boni.

The Bordergates are the only way to get Capital ships if there are no other capitalships available. They can "call in" (build) all possible types of ships.

Bases have only a limited build selection.

Income is generated from owned / captured objects belonging to Sectors.

The Images:
- One shot with a bordergate and starting fleet.
- One with a Build in progress model of a station (Thaddis Sabbah)
- One with a finished Station (yellow commstation)
- One showing the Sensormanager and serveral sectors (two captured with additional Bases)

I hope this helps a bit to get a picture of what i'm doing at the moment. I will replace all with EVE models when done.

If possible I try to let repairbots "build" the station and make collectors / autocollectors possible inside the sectors.
