I like to announce EVE: RTS (work name) It's a mod about EVE Online developed by myself, featuring ships and other objects directly from the original Game. Models and Textures were extracted using TriExporter. CCP confirmed that I can use their Artwork. (see end of summary)

Are you swapping meshes with an animated joint in the HOD? We use an animated joint for the shields, to move the collision mesh away when the ship's health reaches 25% :D

No. I despawn the old model and spawn a new one. I don't think I will do a move collision as EVE models will be about 20 MB in Hod only if you have one station. Integrating all 4 models in one Hod will probably kill performance. But damn ... I like the idea.

Description

This 4 images shows a base is all it's 4 construction stages.
This images shall show you how "constuction" is interpreted.

This is how it will work:
1. Capture a Sector
2. Hold it for a certain amount of time
3. Stage 1 base will spawn
4. It will start to "build" (regenerate) in 4 States
- 10%
- 25%
- 50%
- 75%
5. At about 75% of it's maximum HP the Station will be fully oberational.

If your base is destroyed, a new one will start to build after the wreckages disappears.
