Endgame is a competitive multiplayer mod. Taking inspiration from the game of chess, the objective of each game is killing the enemies' command squads while protecting your own from harm.
- There are no base buildings, no tech-ing, no tanks, and no territory capture. The focus is entirely on the combat and on player skill.
- Each player starts with a set amount of resources and is unable to gain any more, making each unit precious and irreplaceable.
- Units are quickly built and walk on from the edges of the map.
- All the factions are exactly the same, eliminating any possible imbalance. All players have access to the exact same resources, units, and abilities. There are no stat differences between the units cross-faction - For example, Riflemen are identical to Volksgrenadiers in every single way.

Hello everyone! In this latest patch there are two relatively minor, but important changes. First, I've fixed the AI and it will now always call in a command squad no matter what. Basically, after the initial 60 seconds, if you haven't chosen a command squad yet, one will randomly be assigned to you. This means that playing against the AI is generally fixed, and they will always come on the field. There are still a number of things that I'd like to do. For example, the AI tends to become fixated on a certain kind of tactic - sometimes they are incredibly aggressive, sometimes they are passive, and occasionally you have a game where the AI seems to play really well and are actually a challenge. I'd like them to always be a challenge like that, and it's a matter of me figuring out all the different AI variables that cause them to play like that. It's something I'm working on.
The other change is actually a series of small balance changes here and there. Infantry weapons have been tweaked slightly - I was unhappy with the basic rifle, and so it is now slightly more deadly. SMGs should now be really dangerous at very close ranges, as the long rifles will now do more damage at long range. Jeeps now do slightly more damage against targets that are moving, and you can really feel the buffs they receive from doctrines now.
There are still plenty of things for me to work on. I am always open to feedback. If you have any good games, I would love if you sent me replays! I really want to see what competitive players can do with the mod, and I'm currently looking for a good game to shoutcast / give a mini-introduction about how the mod works as well as a look at some intense play. I have download the latest version and installed it but when I open the shortcut its still starting the normal COH. I have COH 1.0v. Please help me. Thank you
I wish you'd entered this into the Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts section, because a lot more people browse that section, instead of the Original.
I feel this was because I think you deserve a lot more credit for this than you've gotten because I think the gameplay is fantastic.

Hey, that's a nice idea you got there. I've played it a few times and it's a lot of fun. I have a question though, how did you remove all the resource points?

I dont understand why the inf have AT weapons upgrade if they can distroy armoured vehicles with they rifles,its realy needs some changes done in dmg sistem, and the americans are too overpowered compared to wehrmacht they always beat them
If you look at CoH's stats; infantry can take 5 rifle shots before dying (does not count misses). What Joker is saying is to reduce that shot number to like 1-2 like in real-life.
I would definitely play this mod more if it was more realistic. Right now, Snipers and mortars are pretty dominant on the field at eliminating infantry effectively.
