I would pick up the GOG version of the game. I believe you couldn't use the RAM Patch for the Steam version, because Steam does not like it if you alter the .exe or something.
Please correct me if I'm wrong!
I'm using it on the steam version and it works fine just have to remove the shader folder to get rid of the green glow in the background. The GOG version and the 4 gig patch are no longer needed for this mod, for now anyways.
That's good to hear. This will make it easier for poeple to choose a version.
