I see you also have JJs fetish for big guns attached to the underside of ships. I'm not a fan of this ship, as the Tector or even ISD-II (even Acclamator I) would spank it's aft easily, but as it's from Jer, I have to at least respect the time and effort he's put into it. I've seen a couple of artist 3D renditions of this derp boi, but Jer's is by far the best and it isn't even textured yet. Well played, you Dutch bastard. Well played. <3
Think ISD 1, with its weakness of no forward facing long range weapon mitigated. Still has the long range broadside heavy turbo turrets. No defence for the rear though, as is tradition.
Howbout putting that previous red dickgun under the poor ISD...
maybe model a zipped black leather mask and nailed pingpong rackets onto it and call it the Dominator-class.
You got models for those? A purpose for them that is not covered by another ship other than "I want them"?
This was only done because it's a fast edit of an existing model and is in no way acting like it did in that abomination of a movie. If you watched the Steam you would know this will not be Empire ship and it mostly just acts like SPHA-T does for the Venator now only stronger. Doesnt even one shot large frigates.
The ships you mention above are the same as existing ships.

Virgillia - Nebulon-B
MC85 - Home One but with nearly no weapons
And all of them would require time to make complete new models which are anywhere from a few weeks to a few month to do.
Honestly the mod had quite a bias for the Empire or ship with their 'Style' for a long time. I know it's time and such but it's funny to have all of you guys calling those ship abobination and yet taking this one which is probably the worse of the pack...
I guess it's just an unpopular opinion of someone who's not an empire fan boy.
It's call asymmetrical faction design. It's the reason the Rebels lack a big brawling capital ship and have nothing bigger than the MC80 Liberty-type that's not a one-off hero or the Viscount.
Instead they have specialized ships that do specific things and the best fighters and bombers in the mod until the very late game when the Empire finally catches up with TIE Defenders and Scimitars.
Also this ship is not even going to be in the mod as stated in Moddb.com
Even if added it would not even be a buildable unit for the player.
The idea of Imperial Bias is simply from people who want the Rebels to have tons of big gun warships that would make them play just like the Empire where you make the biggest ships and attack move at the enemy.

If anything you should be complaining about the lack of Criminal actual units instead of redundant Sequel era units that serve no purpose than they looks cool.
That's true! Though the thing about those ship is...With the logic you are saying is, late game the empire fill that gap and using the link you gave it does show that late game the empire does have fighter with the same power. Yet the rebel never get close in the capital ship gap betwen the two. Not even late game while at least the empire close that one.
Though yeah. The Criminal one is quite depressing... But actually nearly impossible to really fill with anything unless you guys make it a more mandalorian faction :/
Rebels dont need to fill any gap. They spam cheap powerful fighters and frigates to defeat the Imperial capital ships. You simply have to actually pay attention and use them to their strengths instead of playing like the Empire where you just attack move and win.
You gotta micro bombers to key weapons and shields, you have to manage your healing drones from the Neb-Bs, you have to place your Corellian Destroyers in the way of missile ships and bombers to block them, you have to micro MC30s and DP20s with their engine boosts past the enemy ships without stopping, you have to place Assault Frigates in the front to tank damage.
They are a faction that requires thought instead of building the biggest ships enmasse like the Empire.
I mean, tbh in the last update I didn't had to micro anything. I just spamed X-wing and Y-wing and won it that way...As you said their dirt cheap. Efficient. I snowballed with 5 fleet of 100 x-wing + 50 y-wing.
