We don't currently have too much terrain set up, but it should be nice for variety on the GC map to have a couple of planets like this. There's now also a new moon in the same detail level.

We would need some lights on ships and maybe more luminosity from the turbolasers and explosions to make the ambient more lively, imo anyway.
edit: in video form it's better but still, I think it makes it a bit hard to enjoy the battle if you can't see your units well enough.

Star Destroyers and Mon Calamari ships have lots of "windows" which would be noticeable in the dark I believe
I agree with other sentiments expressed here, this could be possible with proper lighting on ships, and keyed to weapon particles but as it sits you reaaaally can't see anything
Honestly, I like the darkness, makes it both unique and with the shooting laser it'll look wicked with battles.
Imagine it people, you see the light of the ships then suddenly, BWAM, lasers shooting everywhere, engines, explosions, panic.
