Dynamic Campaign Generator (DCG) is a mod for the games "Men of War" and "Men of War: Assault Squad" that randomly generates skirmish missions and lets you keep your surviving forces from one battle to another. Some people find this mod tricky to install the first time - please read the readme.txt carefully and ask for help (if you need it) on our forums here on this site, or at the game developer's site.

Hi DCG users!

Version 4.0 is available for download now!

DCG v4.0 Released

There are many new features in this version which you can read about in the changelog. However, the biggest change is the addition of a full fledged new nation to DCG, the Italians! The Italians have a full set of vehicles, cannons, and even aircraft which have been carefully modeled and textured from scratch by Zeke Wolff and Ngvede with great attention to detail. In addition, Zeke Wolff modelled and textured many Italian small arms and other pieces of infantry equipment. This is a massive accomplishment, since Zeke Wolff and Ngvede made these models all by themselves over a multi-year period and the project has actually made it to release. The Italian soldier models and speech come from the Men of War: Red Tide game with permission from Best Way.

DCG for Assault Squad now for the first time has almost all of the vehicles and squads available in the original Men of War DCG thanks the efforts of Ty2903. Ty2903 has also added his realism updates directly into DCG for Assault Squad for this release. His Realism Mod for the original Men of War DCG is now available as a separate download below.

Sorry to bother you but do you buy any chance have any plans to move onto Call to Arms at any point?
Would be pretty nice with all the modern units and stuff but it's understandable why you wouldn't want to.

In the settings.xml... change this line

<unitsbasemin>5</unitsbasemin>

Whatever # you put in that line is multiplied by 8. That is why the starting point is 40.

Hey i dont know how to get back to the deployment and reinforcment screens. I completed my first mission and i saved it and exited MOWAS and i accidently exited out of the deploy/reinforce screens before i started MOW. Is there anyway i can load my next mission or deploy screens so i can keep going?

If you still have the mission saved, load up the mission and save it again as result with the DCG program running in the background. It should start the "next mission" process over again for you.

1 year ago, I posted on the official forum, the topic "List of enhancement requests (MoW-DCG & MoW:AS-DCG v.4.5 / v.5.0)". At the time I expected a large participation of the community on the issues that I raised there, but this did not happen (I've only got 8 comments, and perhaps the main: I could not contact mr "Trog" with regard to the field of programming/scripting). As I did not get enough audience, and I could not get to mr. "Trog", and I could not learn enough about "scripting + GEM editor", I judged that the matters discussed in the topic were not appropriate at that time (not for the users and not for Mod developers). And so I did not add more material on the topic (by 1 year).

Despite all this, seeing now that the DCG team announces the release of a new version (4.5) for short, I ask the development team A NEW QUERY TO THE TOPIC (a revise of all the material and discussion/suggestions, contained there), because something of all that was discussed can be used to this new version 4.5 (and the remainder, if not applicable now, may also be useful for future versions).
