Dawn Of War : Kingdom is a skirmish map pack and custom content
mod for Dark Crusade. All of the level art is original.
-An all original Single Player Metamap Campaign for Dark Crusade. The characters of the Dark Crusade on Kronus meet again for battle but this time on Dead World Astor 37! The metamap is a sprawling urban wasteland that is completely interconnected.
-A total of 31 skirmish maps including all 25 campaign maps plus 6 mega sized maps that allow you to play across the multiple campaign maps!
The Place: Dawn of War : Kingdom takes place in an original
setting based in the Warhammer 40K Universe.
This campaign centers on the Dead World called Astor 37. This
place was once a thriving Forgeworld, but caught up in the wake
surrounding the Eye of Chaos, the planet was devastated.
Abandoned for nearly 3 centuries, exept for some clandestine
outposts, Astor 37 lay barely noticed even while nearby star
systems have raged with war.
This will be no more due to a heavy blow to strike the
Space Marine fleet. The hallowed but forgotten ground of
this dead world will shudder under the might of the armies of W40K!
DOW Kingdom Tips.
This campaign is deceptively easy at the beginning. Heres some strategy tips.
Build up your honor guard. You get a bigger honor guard because you will need it to survive. The prices are the same so you must budget your wealth. Pause a turn or two if your forces are depleted.
Beware the invading forces! The armies that move across the Astor cityscape can come into a small map with crushing strength. Defending a map against a strong army is a difficult task. You have more of an advantage attacking with a strong honor guard and claiming territories.
Build up your base! If you get caught away from a map and a large army rolls in your only chance for keeping that is to have the map well tacked down with multiple HQs and defenses. If you defend a base successfully, try to build up defenses for the next attack, before you finish the enemy.
Attack aggressively. Once you have a decent Honor Guard dont hesitate once you attack a map. Immediately set out and try to smash one of the opponent bases right away. When facing many AI enemies it is important to take out the number of opponents fast or you'll get sacked.

A preview pic of all twenty five sections of the Dawn of War : Kingdom Megamap have been added to the gallery. Each map's borders peer into a neighboring territory.
In addition to these twenty five Skirmish maps, Dawn of War : Kingdom has five huge maps that let you play across these territories on a larger scale.

why can't more people do urban maps it is so much more fun than other maps exeped for jungle maps
Wow, great single player campaign! Unbelievable that this mod has been created by a single person.
The only grievance is Relic's metamap editor, which leaves the single maps of the campaign scattered around on the metamap and is confusing at times. It's really a shame that DC can't display the metamap in 2D as intended by the mod's creator.
When i download and install i dont get anything to load D.O.W kingdom, and when i go to the folder in the start menu it only comes up with uninstall.
You enable it in the Game Manger menu when you start up dark crusade
very well done maps, your team definatly disserves a well done on this one if you ask me.the 8 player skirmish maps were HUGE! ive never seen a map that size with so many details.so far im very pleased with the dl but i have one question.i know how to use skirmish maps and to put them in the dxp2 folder but what decals and files should i move if i want to incoreporate them with the regular dc/other mods as i would love to play the maps useing ttru or fok. i wouldent post this on any site or say it was my idea i just realy like the maps. ps you should look for someone named ira aduro on filefront, so far hes proved himself to be an excelent mapper and i think you would make a perfect team-just a suggestion not saying you need help or anything.
zanet, to use dow kingdom with other mods you should do it by adding the mods you want in the dowkingdom.module file with a text program. If you put stuff in your DXP2 folder besides decals, it will crash if you try to play a multiplayer game.
this is the part you change
;; List of MODs that this MOD requires to work
RequiredMod.1 = dowai
RequiredMod.2 = DowXP (example! add the mod you want here)
RequiredMod.3 = DXP2
RequiredMod.4 = W40K
The exeption to this is if you want to play with Lights Of the Warp. In this case edit your LOTW.module and add dowkingdom on top instead.
I installed the mod on a DC installation which is without the DOW and WA installation (I had copied the files from the original installaiton and updated the registry.)
My problem is that the maps are all scattered aound, not fitting each other like tiles.
Is is just me or is this normal?
thanks
If you take a look at the "latest screens" sections, you can see the creator's comment to this: "The metamap interface was unable to be arranged like this unfortunately."
i have the same problem and sometimes my game crashes but i have that with more games it is usually sovled by saving the game everyonce in a while hoever here it apears to also crash when i load a game but the scattered map is disorientating to say the least good mod tough :)
Just a normal Lan line hes in one room im in the other and it still doesnt work.
