Deus Ex: Revision is a large-scale re-imagining of the world of Deus Ex, bringing a tightly integrated aesthetic-oriented approach to the original gameplay.
you have talent but maybe you are wasting your time in a very old engine, why not re-create the game (with your mods) in a new better engine? is there any modern game engine that could be used to emulate this wonderful game using mods? i'm pretty sure there is. think about half-life (xash), half-life 2, crysis, GTA, farcry, DEUS EX 3, etc. or if you are almost a professional there are free opensource graphic engines like ogre that could be used to build your own game engine. If you like making mods and games it could be a learning/starting point for a future career as game developer. Anyway good luck with your projects whatever you do. keep up the good work.
A project that is intended to modify the existing game with new content is in a completely different league from re-constructing the entire game in a different engine, particularly without access to the game source code. That kind of project is too big in scope to be done with our six-person team, and would be best accomplished as a commercial project, given the resources and time required.
I really look forward to seeing your version of the destruction we cause to Area 51!
Very nice, reminds me somehow on Half-Life...
But those 2D fires really kill the atmosphere, you know :(
Exactly what I was thinking. But either crappy 2D fires or no fires at all... :(
