Deus Ex was a successful and very customizable game. But what about the fact everyone had the same exact type of pistol, assault rifle, shotgun, etc. What about the fact that some ammo types were completely under powered compared to their real life counter parts. Now you can enjoy Deus Ex with a more modern arsenal of weapons, including revamped and updated vanilla weapons. Enhanced AI, some maps are revamped, new weapons (More assault rifles, pistols, snipers, and explosives than you can shake a stick at.) , new ammo types (includes unique ammo types such as flame rounds, Armor Piercing and high yield explosive rockets).
Getting Started- Make a copy of your Deus Ex folder, though it may not be ideal. You will be dragging the mod files and replacing everything that conflicts, Make a back up of your Map and System folder for this reason.
I would strongly suggest the newest Shifter, New Vision, HDTP, and Updated Deus Ex Renderer/Textures all avaliable on Mod DB. The Enhanced pack fixes the scope size.

Thanks to the authors of the Cassandra Project, Thanks to Clyzm for his model work @ Alpha Labs, and further more I want to thank the HDTP/TNM staff for their enhanced models/code. TNM Pistol/Rifle Upgrades are functional.
You can expect new weapons (old weapons are touched up to support fast paced combat.), new ammo types (and more types branching off those, hollow points, incidinery rounds, high yield explosive rockets, etc), a few revamped maps, more secret items, the ability to give more NPCs items.
The AI on enemies has been greatly enhanced, stealth is still possible but much more difficult. The Alert times is also increased, I tried making it some what realistic so that AI doesn't have the short term memory of a gold fish.
Misc:
Expect a mini mod for TNM. It won't remove weapons as drastically as this did for Vanilla DX. But it will modify existing ones and add better AI/Introduce more weapons.
I first of all need to apologize for basically falling off the face of the earth. Life happens, but I'm planning on releasing something good by next year.
One release will be improvements and additions to the Modern Combat Mod. Instead of Shifter/Biomod however, I was debating on going with the unifiedDeusEx in their place. It combines both mods, while having a few enhancements.
I also want to make this HDTP compatible as well.
Modern Combat To do list:
-Add Martial Arts from TNM
-Revamp Pistol/Rifle Category (Stockless Subguns will be added to pistols, while stocked subguns will remain rifles.)
-Add More Ammo Categories (There will be several different caliber glock's/Mac10's as well.)
-Add stuff like Dual 1911's(from TNM)/Dual MP5's
-Add More Demolition type weapons
-Add Guns such as the Bolt Action WW2 Rifles, 1911's, WW2 Machine Guns (They won't be all over the place, aside from the 1911's and Mosin Nagants. these are pretty common IRL here in the U.S.) Expect European WW2 weapons to be found somewhere in France ;) , and sparingly state side.
-Add Heavy/Light Machine Guns
-Change AR Rifle Models to something that doesn't look terrible.
-Add Large Bore Rifles (Barret 50BMG, Etc)
-Will have some futuristic weapons in moderation however. But they might not be found until you progress to MJ12 Facilities/Black Ops type areas.
-Fix Numerous Bugs.
One other release will be simply and utterly ridiculous. So expect a Ludicrous weapons mod as well.

Throwing Wrenches
Pool Ball Grenade Launcher
Pigeon Machine Guns
Stinky Fish Bombs
Flame Thrower Pepper Spray
Etc
No throwing foons/sporks unless it's by request. Off Topic Productions already did that one.

Wish there was a way to just spawn the weapons from this mod because I cannot get it to work for anything.
I really like this mod, but it destroys the stealth component to the game and the enemies can automatically see you over 50ft away when your crouching and hiding behind something. This mod is great and all but it nearly ruins the game to the point it felt like Call of Duty. I don't understand why this mod had to completely demolish the stealth, which is integral to the game itself and why I love it. It makes no sense. Maybe the AI shouldn't have been tampered with? I'm not trying to offend but I just want to know why /how the stealth got frakked up and if there is an alternate way to fix it.
Walther P99 and deagle brand deagle do not make any sound when fired. Is there anyway to fix this w/o decompiling & recompiling the entire package?
Easiest thing to do sadly is boot up unreal editor and give it a sound. It's odd because the sound worked on my end.
