Hello everyone. I have started creating a Deus ex mod. I called it Deus Ex UNATCO Rescue Mission. I officialy started to work on this mod in 2010. On december 24th 2010 I released the demo version of my mod.
8th of May - I declared this mod DEAD. Reasons why this mod is dead: 1. When I started to create this mod I realize that I can not do this mod all by my self. Its a lot of work. It is the first and the most biggest reason why I stopped working on this mod. 2. I viewed the statics and I saw that minimum people who want my mod to be developed 3. I realised that there are a lot of better mods in development than mines 4. AND the biggest reason why I stopped working on this mod because I could not continue working of this mod, because all of my files (maps, textures, sounds, music) were deleted because I had to reinstall my OS.
But I got a lot of experiences from making this mod and It is very possible that I will begin working on a new mod which will be much better. Ofcourse, I will never do such a big project alone. Anyone with a modding skills artist skills for Deus Ex contact me and maybe we can start a brand new project :)
For those who really liked my mod: I am verrry sorry :( But...maybe there will be something new......

Some info how to install demo version
1. The installation:
There will be an exe installation file so the installation shouldn´t be to hard. The difficult part will be: run the map. So normaly start the game. Turn cheats on. Then type: legend. Then click load map and then find Slovakiamap1.
2. Gameplay
Demo version contains only ONE new map. The map is from a brand new UNATCO HQ in Slovakia :D
There won´t be much shooting in the demo version.
3. New trailer before release.
There will also be a new trailer before the release.

Ummm, I don't know what happened with the files needed for this mod, but it gave me a crap-ton of 1-kb audio files for the conversations and none of the actual conversation .u files, the result being when I boot up the mission I get missing datalinks and no conversations... I assume that's why you included the source files?

I will make an .exe instalation pack this week. That way there shoudn´t be any problem with it.
I included the source files because i didn´t know if without them game will still works. Get it? I didn´t know which files are nesecerally for mod to work.
This mod doesn´t have voices in game. So audio files should have minimum size :D
