In Defence Alliance (DA) you and your teammates will defend your fort from a horde of bots. You will have some minutes to prepare your machine guns and get into positions. After that the attack begins. Your mission? Simply, keep them out of your fort for about 20 min. You really need to save your ammo and teamplay is required. The mechanic must be next to you to feed your gun with ammo or else you will lose time reloading it. There are going to be 6 classes, the Mechanic, the Medic and the Marine class which is separated into 3 sub-classes.
Radio commands will help you and your teammates to co-operate more effectively and protect your fort. The MOD is based near-future so do not expect any laser guns or such unrealistic weapons. As for the number of gameplays. We will first finish the current one (Protect your Fort) and then add more.

Well a community edition usually means that the developers have released a special add-on for the fans; but not in our case... For us the community edition means the community have created there own update for DA!...
So without further delay; Defence Alliance are proud to announce the Community Edition of DA:UT (v1.7) is available.
The community edition of DA has one big addition to DA... HvH mode. allowing people to play as the attackers!
DA:CE was created by the community after we released the DA:UT source code. So we have not officialy participated in creating v1.7 but do support the release. Even more so we have incorporated it into the DA family and given it a version number... DA v1.7.
You can find out more about the CE in this section of our site. However most of it is similar to DA:UT so information on the classes and weapons etc can be found by visiting the DA:UT section.

Whilst the community have been busy coding away a community edition of DA. The DA Team have been working on the UT2004 port. So expect some new weapon updates for the Human Defenders in the coming days.

One of many classic mods, I was wondering if anybody with the retrospective feeling still plays this.
i remeber always logging on to planet unreal to watch for any releases of this mod...but unfortunatly right when this mod was released 5 days later we were shown battlefield 1942 and well...it was a bit better but im sure you can do great in 2004 :P, and what i ment by better as in bigger maps drivable vehicals :P and actual boats we can drive but i bet you can do exactly that in the better looking ut2004 :P
