Defence Allaince 2 is our latest version of DA for the UT2004 engine can be found here at MODDB.

=========
In Defence Alliance (DA) you and your teammates will defend your fort from a horde of bots. You will have some minutes to prepare your machine guns and get into positions. After that the attack begins. Your mission? Simply, keep them out of your fort for about 20 min. You really need to save your ammo and teamplay is required. The mechanic must be next to you to feed your gun with ammo or else you will lose time reloading it. There are going to be 6 classes, the Mechanic, the Medic and the Marine class which is separated into 3 sub-classes.
Radio commands will help you and your teammates to co-operate more effectively and protect your fort. The MOD is based near-future so do not expect any laser guns or such unrealistic weapons. As for the number of gameplays. We will first finish the current one (Protect your Fort) and then add more.

In order to initiate a voting sequence you must use the command 'Callvote' in console.
Callvote
The current actions that exist are:

- Bottype
For example in order to change map you use the following command:
Callvote map Village (NOTE: Do not add the DA- prefix)

Callvote Bottype Brutes (NOTE: If vote succeeds, map will restart!)
This will initiate the voting system and players will have 20 seconds to vote. In order to vote

to take.
Point System changes:
=====================
- Medic will gain one point after a player receives any of his packs from the ground.

There is just one reason I still have UT installed on my computer, and that reason is of course: Defence Alliance.
I had downloaded pretty much all of the mods available for UT and nothing really grabbed me and got me hooked, until this mod came along. I downloaded it on the day of release of v1.0 expecting to be uninstalling it the next day, but to be quite honest, I was blown away. The very first version had some pretty nasty bugs, but despite that I found myself playing if for hours upon end. And then came 1.1, still I couldn't get enough of the amazing online team-play, essential for victory. As for 1.5, brilliant, near perfect. And I can assure you now DA:2003 will be THE mod of the future, this really is a sure winner.
So do yourself a huge favour, and click me.
lol
my pc cant handle anything good anymore :(
yes... we all are hoping that the new engine can let us get the acyion in. ive come up with some very new ideas for gameplay. its these little things which can help this mod.
if you feel you can contribute to DA:UT2003 head over to our forum and post away :)
this mod has a heap of potential, it just doesn't seem to shine on UT, so i hope you guys get it sorted on UT2003.
Great! there are already loads of MODs out there being designed for UT2003 already
i am yet to play UT2K3 but from what i have seen from the 'priview videos' it looks to offer something special both visually and playabilty wise
i'll be adding that game to modDB shortly so mods can register under it
we are looking forward to moving DA over to the new Ut2003 engine, where we can then start to show off what we really wanted this MOD to become, DA:UT was a test run for DA:2003. the attacking system will be maxed out on the new engine, to cope with hundreds of attackers. from what we have learnt from v1.0 to v1.6 we can make this work.
i really do have to fire up UT again been a while for me, but the latest release of this mod really does look fantastic!
I must commend you on a job well done because I am well aware of the effort involved in actually fully completing a modification
