In Defence Alliance (DA) you and your teammates will defend your fort from a horde of bots. You will have some minutes to prepare your machine guns and get into positions. After that the attack begins. Your mission? Simply, keep them out of your fort for about 20 min. You really need to save your ammo and teamplay is required. The mechanic must be next to you to feed your gun with ammo or else you will lose time reloading it. There are going to be 6 classes, the Mechanic, the Medic and the Marine class which is separated into 3 sub-classes.
Radio commands will help you and your teammates to co-operate more effectively and protect your fort. The MOD is based near-future so do not expect any laser guns or such unrealistic weapons. As for the number of gameplays. We will first finish the current one (Protect your Fort) and then add more.

Well its come to that time now... We are now finishing off Defence Alliance UT and now moving onto new lands with Defence Alliance 2003 (Using the UT2003 Engine)
The Defence Alliance Team has decided to release the DA v1.6 source code for the DA:UT Game.... This is for anyone to edit and distribute their "own" DA. We cannot provide unlimited support for the Source Code due to us concentrating on DA:2003 :)
We regret to inform you that DA:UT Gold Edition will not be finished as we have decided to move onto DA:2003 and concentrate making this the best Defence Alliance version we have released. more will come on DA:2003 as we get down to work with our new team.
Our website is already starting to be populated with DA:2003 links so have a quick look around :) and sign up to the forums if you have not done so already

Extra Update:
Due to our UT Console Commands page gaining a lot of hits from search engines and people browsing the website (found under server help) we have compiled out UT2003 console commands.... and there is a lot of them!

No Servers cuz the game is really old now....
No Bot Support cuz we never did it :)
However Defence Alliance 2 on Ut2004 will have bot support and be a hell lot more fun, now we got vehicles. currently im creating a map to work with bots on both teams
there are bot support on one or two gametypes but they suck. excellent idea though.
1) No bot support

That's because I can't play UT online (56kbps connection), and the last version doesn't have bot support...
And this Mod looks great :D
I also played lots of mods (TO,SF,UNF,UTJB,WF and more) but this mod... this mod is definitely the best mod ever made. It requires good teamplay, and good communication. Con: the botmatch mode is not competley finshed. But hey, bots suck, multiplayer mode ownz...
No other mod requires more teamplay then Defence Alliance.
Please stop reading this and download/play it now!

Jonny said it all, UT would be no longer on my computer if it werent for DA, may it live long and prosper *enter funky hand thing here* and DA:2003 it sure to be ownage :)
