Good morning, and welcome to Black Mesa: Decay. Black Mesa: Decay is a complete graphic overhaul of Half Life: Decay, which was released for the PS2 on November 14, 2001, and was brought to the PC community by modders in 2008. Starting development in late 2017, and hoping to release in 2018, is the Black Mesa: Decay mod, which will remaster the classic 4th expansion with high-quality textures, sounds, models, etc.. This mod will... ◦ Include remade levels of the original 10 chapters in the expansion pack with new textures, models, voice acting, etc..
◦ Have familiar levels, as well as some new ones, with puzzles custom-tailored to the Source engine.
◦ Will run on the award-winning Source engine, using assets from the Half Life 1 remake; Black Mesa.
◦ Have singleplayer and multiplayer support. (Multiplayer will only be available once the mod is fully released.)
◦ Have custom levels for a singleplayer campaign, which will have puzzles designed to be completed by one player, and likewise, multiplayer will have custom maps with puzzles that require 2 players to complete.
