Dark Ambience mod for Half-Life 2

Behind the Project:
Dark Ambience is a school project for BT’s Young Scientist. We want to show how sounds and music are the most frightful thing to a person, To show this, we are going to create a ‘Half-Life 2' Modification, and implement our own custom sounds and creatures. Then, we test the players with heartrate monitors. This will show us that if they are playing the game and there heartrate starts going faster, we know that they are being effected. Then they tell us what got them scared the most.

Game Story:
You are a teenaged photographer, who would love to take pictures of the abandoned hospital on the east side of town. It is a beautiful sunny summer’s day, and it is perfect for taking pictures on the grounds of the old abandoned hospital. You and your friends are at the grounds, and after been taking pictures of each other and your surroundings, you get a sudden urge to take some inside. Your friends chicken out. You walk in the old rusty doors of the building, to find a brightly lit corridor. As you walk in, you see that the titles on the walls are dusty, and the only source of light, is the old bulbs on the ceiling and the sunlight pouring in from the windows. You walk cautiously through the room. Looking at the bottles and graffiti on the walls and floors. You walk into the next room, which seems to be wrecked by a group of teenagers. It is the Administration office. As you progressed more and more through the building, you find rooms like the X-Ray Department, Dentist’s office, Bathrooms, Wards. Most of these rooms were locked, or jammed. But you feel more urges to go upstairs, to the next floor. The sign said that the next floor had Cat scans, Chemotherapy, Doctor’s offices, and The nurses wards. All of these rooms sounded very scary, yet you still want to go up. You continue up the stairs. This floor is still much more frightening. There is blood smeared on the walls. And there is no sunlight coming in through the windows. The only source of light is the flickering florescent light bulbs overhead. You become more frightened. You walk into the cat scan room, Looking around for anything that will tell you about this places past. You see on the screen what looks like a videotaping of something that happened inside the cat scan machine. There is a girl screaming and clawing at the walls of the cat scan. The video goes into some static, and appears normal again. Except the girl is not there. You walk over to the cat scan machine, and open it. To find a dead body lying on the table. The claw marks still on the roof of the small tube. You run out, frightened. As the door closes you Hear sounds which sound like a woman crying. You begin running, down through the rooms. Till you get to the nurses wards. You walk inside. No where to go you turn around to find the body, limping towards you. Making the deafening screams it was when it had revived. It came closer. The creature slowly lunged in for the bite. You faint. Waking up later to find your friends around you asking you if your ok.
