The Online Gallery is a new kind of modification using valves source engine to construct a virtual gallery that you can walk around with your friends or family. The gallery upon completion will include the ability to change the actual images ingame with those of your own therefor making every gallery you create unique and giving you the option to name your gallery and then publish it on the internet for you and your friends to download and share,

You will still be able to connect to the gallery and walk around it online, yet the images you see will be different to what others see therefor you can have groups of familes and friends walking around the same gallery but actually seeing there own implemented photographs,

stay tuned for further updates and coming soon the multiplayer beta

What music ???

Yeah, we have a radio ingame which you can select various tracks which are played throughout the level on large speakers. At the moment we have a very popular song which i think a lot of people will enjoy

Can i test it now???

The latest demo is available under the downloads tab

Hey Guys

New Maps coming very shortly and you will not need Photoshop, just as long as you have an application that has the ability to turn images into .VTF Files :)

Develoment of the maps are coming along well and we should have some previews shortly, we have added more open maps rather than long dark corridors which is not very realistic of a gallery

Well we are going to make it so that you can customise your gallery, kinda like in playstation home where you can choose seating locations and furniture etc, so that when you host your gallery and people come to join it will look how you made it and stuff :)

I actually think that this is the start of a pretty cool concept.
You could make it more like a museum in the future, Like in a glass display case you see a picture of your friend...

So how many pictures will there be per map? and will they be fashioned after real art exhibits? (me thinks that would be a neat addition if not)

Each map will be different and there will be unlockable galleries which have galleries based on like different games, companies etc, like nintendo gallery or final fantasy gallery

When we are finished the maps will be modelled based on actual galleries but for now the galleries are there just to show you how the gallery will work and what the gallery is :)
