The Races:

Ascendants = A highly intelligent race with technology far beyond any other race the universe has seen. Unfortunately, sometimes their arrogance is their biggest downfall.

Celestials = This humanoid race is moderately civil and intelligent with a slowly growing technology base. However, this race is quite young and do make naive mistakes.

Gu’tor = Commonly referred to as Bane Runners, this reptile like race is extremely unintelligent and has organic technology. Even though this race lacks basic tactics and weapons, it makes up for in sheer numbers, reproduction value, and predatory instincts.

The Story:

2587 AD:
The Ascendants begin working on codename Gu'tor in hopes of creating an ultimate weapon to end all wars.

2592 AD:
The Ascendants have begun to play god and create the reptile like race. Unfortunately, the Ascendants put no research or effort into trying to contain this new breed of super killers.

2609 AD:
Now nicked named the "Bane Runners," this race attacks mercilessly and reproduces extraordinarily fast. The Ascendants are no match for their experiment and leave their solar system with whatever they have left in hope to establish a new colony and one day destroy their hideous offspring.

3001 AD:
First identification of an Ascendant scout ship in the outer most regions of the Celestials solar system.

3002 AD:
Confirmed intel reports Ascendant's have colonized the outer most planet in the Celestial solar system.

3003 AD:
In hopes to achieve good standing with the far superior Ascendants, the Celestials send the Prime Minister of the United Continents of Gatheran to the outer most planet to have peace negotiations.

3003 AD:
Arrogance consumes the Ascendants and they attack and kill the Prime Minster and his small space force. They then try to send a stealth attack to the Celestial home planet in hopes that they would swiftly and quickly destroy the center of the Celestial’s pride and use their Solar system for resources and as a base of operations.

3004 AD:
The Ascendant stealth attack is destroyed by a massive and well prepared counter attack from the Celestials.

3004 AD:
The war between the Ascendants and Celestials begin.

3025 AD:
The Bane Runners have been trailing their creators for some time and now sightings of the Bane Runners have been reported near the solar systems edge.

3026 AD:
The Cosmos Trilogy begins.

The Features:

>Currently, there will be two playable races. The Ascendants and the Celestials.
>A third race, the Gu’tor(Bane Runners), will be a NPC based race.
>There will be 3 planned game modes for Cosmos Trilogy.
1)Overrun: In a last ditch effort, the Ascendants and the Celestials will put aside their heated past for a short time to fight off the hordes of Bane Runners. Players win when they defeat the last wave.
2)Obliteration: The Ascendants and the Celestials will defend their own base while attacking their opponent's base. Each team will have a remote beacon which can be placed inside their opponent's base which will attract a scourge of Bane Runners to the beacon and attack everything in their path. Players win when they destory their opponent's base.
3)Saddle Up: The Ascendants and the Celestials will compete in a team deathmatch mode. A wave of Bane Runners will run though the map every 5 mintues(or depending on the length of the map) attacking everything in sight. Players win when there is at least one player left standing on one of the teams.

(The orignal mod has been changed and everything is being redone we hope youll stay with us!)

We just decided to change it. It wasn't to hard, and we didn't get a red flag. Just the possibility of getting stopped much later would have been devastating, and being stopped after a TON of work would have been very disappointing. So we decided to create our own game, with our own unique lore.
