Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. Contra 009 FINAL PATCH 3 Hotfix 3 Changelog:

Fixed errors:

- Fixed a crash related to Command Truck aura, Frenzy and Demoralization affecting unit addons (such as separate turrets).
- Fixed a crash in Skirmish and Challenge which occured when GLA AI tunnel teams tried to return to the tunnel they exited but for some reason couldn't (e.g. tunnel was disabled or being reconstructed).
- Adjustments to some weapon minimum firing ranges in order to minimize/resolve the occurence of some mismatches.
- Air Force Patriot could not purchase Stinger Drone. Fixed.
- Fake Command Truck had no aura decal. Fixed.
- Ion Defense Core had more vision range than intended. Fixed.
- Defense Cores dropped from Heavy Reinforcement Pad could not be deployed by buttons, but by force firing. Fixed.
- Some AI-controlled units had Advanced Training upgrade cameo. Fixed.
- Damaged AI-controlled defense cores replenished health when starting deployment. Fixed.
- AI Jarmen Kell could snipe Defense Cores. Fixed.
- Snipers could damage chemical pumps. Fixed.
- SEALs had low mass hence they were sent into the sky by earth shakers. Fixed.
- The crates of Neutral Supply Drop Zone (special building on some maps) landed ahead of the drop zone. Fixed.
- Combat train wagons remained visible in the fog of war. Fixed by revealing them at all times.
- Updated China Boss super unit codes, fixing errors.
- Fixed visual errors with USA Boss Colonel Burton and China Boss Lotus.
- BTR-50 Engineer had no model displayed when damaged while over water. Fixed.
- Lancer droid could not be selected by the turret. Fixed.
- Anthrax Beta Hatf-III missile had a small error in the blast damage and damage radius values (9th blast). Fixed.
- ECM decal was displayed below Dark Star when flying after getting disassembled. Fixed.
- Dark Star had weapon pip displayed even though it had no weapon. Fixed.
- Helix was unable to upgrade with addons after having its radar addon destroyed. Fixed.
- Anti-radar missile had difficulties hitting radar addons when the unit they were mounted to was moving. Fixed.
- Defense Training power caused non-veteran defenses to become veteran if re-deployed. Veteran cores will skip deployment animation and deploy instantly when on low health. Both bugs fixed by removing the special power.
- Wyvern and Auroras could get stuck in pre-attack state when selected with other combat units and given “attack move” orders. Fixed and returned their "attack move" buttons.
- Terminator took damage from Particle Cannon and Atmospheric Lens from a greater distance because he was not immune to anti-air damage type. Fixed.
- Drone Controller's Insectoid drones dealt more damage to anti-aircraft vehicles after Improved Homing Warheads upgrade when the missiles were called by the missile assistance logic. Fixed.
- World Builder displayed some error messages when selecting CommandButton abilities in scripts. Fixed.
- Text and hotkey errors fixed.

Challenge mode:

- All: Assault Recycling ability did not work in Challenge mode on Easy difficulty. Fixed.
- Cyber: The AI upgraded with camouflage when you built tomahawk storm, but were not high rank. Fixed.
- Cyber: Moved the shipping containers away because they were obstructing the player from building defenses.
- Laser: Fixed an error in the attack scripts that slowed down the AI.
- Laser: Fixed an error where air teams completely ignored the player starting base.
- Laser: Some teams were built only after 40 mins of the game. Fixed. Now depending on difficulty some teams are built quicker.
- Laser: Added some Sentry Drones to attack waves.
- Laser: Attack teams will build scout drones when idle for a while.
- Laser: Added sentry drones across the map for detection.
- Laser: Fixed a bug where some of his Power Plants didn't upgrade with Control Rods.
- Laser: Fixed another buggy speech script.
- Laser: He should not drop power because of the amount of units he produces on Hard anymore.
- Nuke: Did some shuffling with the nuke missile targets to keep things fresh and interesting.
- Nuke: Added one nuke cannon to guard a poorly defended section of AI base.
- Nuke: Added Death Hand on Hard mode.
- Nuke: Added some more speech scripts.
- Nuke: Hopefully fixed some janky behaviour from the vehicles in the intro.
- Nuke: Removed the Nuclear Storm on Easy as it was inactive on that difficulty anyway.
- Flame: Fixed a script where the "Building Lost" music track kept playing because of the GPs the enemy would use. Now the track only plays when the player loses a tech center (e.g. Strategy Center, Palace or Propaganda Center) or a Command Center.
- Flame: Added more conditions under which the AI will start using his general's powers and super weapon.
- Flame: Added more conditions under which the AI will research upgrades. Some upgrades are built earlier on Hard.
- Flame: AI now has Helices guarding his outer perimeter.
- Flame: Removed an area of the supply piles on the northeast side. Replaced supply source consisting of several small supply piles with one big supply pile, which is only available on Easy and Medium.
- Flame: Fixed a case where the AI would never re-attempt to purchase an upgrade if the building which was researching it gets destroyed while doing so.
- Flame: Fixed a case where planes stopped attacking.
- Flame: Zhu Rong will now upgrade with Propaganda addon.
- Flame: AI did not research Flame Combustion upgrade. Fixed.
- Flame: Moved the random falling fire drips away from AI team gathering areas.
- Flame: The attack peace after rank 3 can be interrupted more easily on Medium and Hard. Decreased peace timer on Hard.
- Infantry: Fixed a script where the "Building Lost" music track kept playing because of the GPs the enemy would use. Now the track only plays when the player loses a tech center (e.g. Strategy Center, Palace or Propaganda Center) or a Command Center.
- Tank: Fixed a script where the "Building Lost" music track kept playing because of the GPs the enemy would use. Now the track only plays when the player loses a tech center (e.g. Strategy Center, Palace or Propaganda Center) or a Command Center.
- Tank: Placed some more outposts in enemy base for detection.

- China Boss: Idle units around the map will be more aggressive.

- Toxin: Added some missing speech scripts, fixed some errors.
- Toxin: Changed a defense team to more match the units the player uses.
- Toxin: Tunnel team now has some vehicles.
- Demolition: Nuclear charges now have more advanced detonation triggers.
- Demolition: Jarmen Kell did not evade and did not attack infantry after sniping a vehicle. Fixed.
- Stealth: Some terrorist biker attacks were very late on Medium and Hard. Decreased the delay significantly.
- Stealth: AI didn't build rank 3 upgrades. Fixed.
- Stealth: AI did not use GPS Scrambler and Sneak Attack. Fixed.
- Stealth: Now rebuilds both Palaces.
- Stealth: Flak Guns will be deployed initially.
- Stealth: One of the attack teams didn't attack because of an error. Fixed.
- Stealth: Team changes and fixes.
- Stealth: The idle Gun Buggies scattered around the map are now garrisoned.
- Stealth: Transport attack teams will now evacuate and hunt whenever they see an enemy.
- Stealth: Tunnel Guard Teams consist of more units.
- Stealth: AI will now attempt to capture neutral units.
- Stealth: Hazael will also start hunting if the player gathers a lot of forces in the middle.
- Stealth: Hazael will no longer attack when Super Weapon general builds Tomahawk Storm at rank 1.
- Stealth: Reduced base Supply Dock cash amount on Medium and Hard.
- Stealth: The northwestern AI base didn't receive a streaming flow of cash because of an error. Fixed.
- Stealth: Now uses Temporary Blackout and Radar Destruction special powers, on Hard difficulty only.
- Stealth: The northwestern AI base consists of an additional Arms Dealer and a Barracks on Hard difficulty.
- Stealth: AI did not train Jarmen Kell because he was initially present in a building.
- Stealth: Removed the supply piles in the player's base on Hard.
- Stealth: New Saboteur Biker teams will attempt to sabotage the player's buildings.
- Assault: Re-added a deleted waypath which screwed up the intro.
- Assault: Fixed a script where Huchum would be silent when you garrisoned a building while he should say something.
- Assault: Jarmen Kell did not evade and did not attack infantry after sniping a vehicle. Fixed.
- GLA Boss: Potential fix for save crash.
- GLA Boss: Fixed a script where the "Building Lost" music track kept playing because of the GPs the enemy would use. Now the track only plays when the player loses a tech center (e.g. Strategy Center, Palace or Propaganda Center) or a Command Center.

Maps:

- Increased the score required to win by four times on the Guild Master, Deathscythe's Rampage, Conference and Airfield Assault CTF mode maps. Increased the delay before the map author string, allowing to read the error string in case a player attempts to play the map as the only player in the game.
- Lion Heart: The water reflection objects did not cover some of the water area. Fixed.
- Tournament Coastline, Tournament Island, Tournament Island Christmas Special: Fixed an area name to help skirmish AI send their mobile supply stashes to secondary supply areas. Improved AI attack waypoints.
- Melting Snow: Moved player starting positions to accommodate them better for AI as well as distance to middle supplies. Moved middle supplies and buildings closer to the eastern player.

Skirmish AI:

- AI often didn't build rank 3 technology buildings. Fixed.
- AI will always try to build a Supply Center, even in case a map contains no supply sources, allowing them to build their base.
- Some AI units attacked their own stuff inside their base sometimes. Fixed.
- Cyber, Laser and Super Weapons AI had difficulties sending planes to attack. Fixed.
- AI didn't build one of the rush teams sometimes. Fixed.
- Interceptors had difficulties attacking air units. Fixed.
- Improved GLA Mobile Supply Stash behavior.
- Super Weapons AI will prioritize Solar Panels upgrade.
- Stealth AI did not use GPS Scrambler and Sneak Attack. Fixed.
- GLA AI recruit captured dozers and build Power Plants in their base reliably now.
- Sneaky BTR teams' workers couldn't build Tunnel Networks. Fixed.
- AI will now properly use both of his neutral unit capture soldiers to scan for units (the second soldier will no longer begin attack-hunting if there's more units to capture).
- Neutral unit capture soldiers will no longer stop being produced if they have previously captured units with no attack capabilities which are still alive.
- Many other small fixes and adjustments.

Balance changes:

- Level 1 A-10 Strike no longer kills a Supply Center.
- Earth Shaker shockwave damage reduced by 33%.
- Saturn weapon damage and disabling rate increased.
- Shandian movement speed over water increased.
- Returned Thor carbon laser's previous shorter delay between shots (results in more damage per second).
- Uriel cost and build time decreased ($1600 -> $1400), (16 s -> 14 s).
- Uriel, Remiel and Hadriel geometry slightly increased to prevent them from clumping and thus more of them receiving radius damage.

Other changes:

- Heavy Reinforcement Pad now drops 2 Patriot Cores and 1 Ion Core for Super Weapons general.
- Removed Super Weapons Defense Training GP, and hence the bugs mentioned in the Fixed errors section. The change is inspired by the need to fix those bugs.

Hello guys. Thank you for upgrade. But when i play in challenge vs laser. Two omega attack me after 2 minutes. Is this is kidding or joke???)))

Try not to approach his base early on. I don't think this result was intended, although it seems it can be avoided.

Thanks for update, just 1 question
I just edited via finalbig to increase multiplayer starting money and vision of all command center to reveal whole map
But in game still unchanged why?

Btw i doing that just for fun and my self, i haven't much time to play because my work and family

Make sure you change the files with highest precedence, e.g. find where the multiplayer.ini was changed last and change that one (!!!!Contra009Final_Patch3.big). If you change the one in !Contra009Final.big, your changes won't be loaded because Patch 3 overwrites 009 Final.
