Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game. It's a big project started in 2004. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals. There are lots of people playing in multiplayer.

List of recent changes:

Fixed bugs:
- Corrected the logic of terrorists bikers.
- Upon completion of upgrade mine in a Inf Gen barracks disappeared button built muffler.
- General's ability "Emergency repairs" now restores Overlords, even if they are under the influence of propaganda. But in this context, it is another feature - emergency repairs and restores the infantry, too.
- Protection System on USA buildings "spin" when they receive damage.
- A gattlingos, Red arrows, Quads and Stingers vision radius was less than the range of attack. This is not allowed to shoot at the full range of air targets.
- Minefield can be instantly ready when it destroed by terrorist.
- If you build two or more teams truck chapters, the "buildings clearance" also had two or more.
- The F-35 caused damage to air targets.
- F-35 is no confusing one another in an attack in the group.
- The inf general ECM-infantry was not improving at the armor.
- All the GLA generals, except Assault gen, it was impossible to steal money.

Changes in the text:
- Corrected version number.
- A spider-mine description corrected.
- Fixed an error in describing the annihilator - he did not shoot the aircraft.
- Fixed grammatical error - it was written "Exoscelenons".
- U-APC with a sniper gun wrong damaget model fire.
- Corrected description of Bombtruck.

Changes visual efects:
- AF gen AirField wrong construction model.
- Fixed fire on FlameThower add-on to Emperor.
- Flame on Dragon now change color after the "black napalm" upgrade.
- At the exploded irradiator fly off the tower of ztz.
- APC with a machine gun Inf Gen when he was realy damaged, not burned.

Balance Changes:
- All: Destruction of neutral buildings (oil towers and etc.) gives 2 times less experience.
- USA: Microwave tanks are now faster off the building and slowly destroy the infantry.
- Cbr: Spiders-mines (built by repair dron) is now available on the 3rd star.
- Cbr: Teleport reloading time reduced from 3 to 2 minutes.
- Cbr: Rockets of Robo-raptor now not affected by ECM.
- AirF: Raptor can cause 700 damage, but the aircraft HP does not exceed 250. Damage reduced to 400, weapons reload on airport immediately.
- AirF: Upgrade to the arms SpyDrone moved to a warfactory and is available from 1 st rank.
- AirF: The possibility of a call Comanches now gives 2-4-6 ps, but recharged for 5 minutes instead of 4.
- AirF: Range of attack F-16 without SLID-a lowered. Distance with SLID the same.
- China: The stationary speaker-tower moved to the first rank.
- China: All the APC-s (including the APC with gattling gun) armor reduced (it was 600 units of armor, has 550).
- China: red arrows raised damage to air targets.
- Inf: The gattling APC with a reduced space for infantry to 4 and increased the price to 1200.
- Inf: The grenadiers of damage against tanks and buildings reduced.
- Inf: Artdesignator reload time changed from 20 to 22 seconds and he is attacking 9 shells (was 10). The price is also lowered to 2000.
- Inf: TankHunter after upgrade to improve bazookas now shoot projectiles that do not daffected by ECM.
- Nuclear: In the barracks added ECM trooper that will protect you from the bulldozer-Rash.
- GLA: mortar buggy now can shoot on the move, is cheaper and has the bonus damage when shooting at buildings.
- GLA: All GLA generals lowered prices on some of the Level 1 (but not all, of course).
- GLA: BombTruck now has a bonus damage to buildings.
- GLA: Upgrade weapons to commtrucks moved to ArmsDealer.
- Chem: Upgrade missile Scorpion is available in ArmsDealer.
- Chem: Toxshells not required upgrade.
- Chem: Upgrade to chemical warhead was moved to the black market and is available on the 1 st rank.
- Chemist: A techniks increased damage the aircraft.
- Chemist: Terrorists now have resistance to toxins.
- Demo: Upgrade to toxshells available to the ArmsDealer in the first rank.
- Demo: Prices at the mines and demo traps decreased in 2 times.
- Demo: For a demo traps, made the delay before the explosion. The delay appears only if the trap exploded by sapper, as in all other cases, the blowup immediately.
- Stealth: Rebels after a shot from the shotgun is still visible a little longer - 3.5 seconds (was 2.5)

Site Changes:
- Cbr Chinuk Do not carry the passengers, but it was written that the transports. Fixed.
- New screenshots.
- Change the look of the trees of technology.
- Fixed article about Hamachi.

Other changes:
- New icon for Fafnir.
- A new icon for the mortar buggy. Buggy Model fixed.
