After playing with your mod. I did encounter some issues such as:
1. Too many ships.
2. There are too many ship types.(Corvette and heavy corvette?)
3. Anti-capital ships like the missile cruiser's weaponry doesn't do heavier damage against heavy units like the tiamat, or the monolith

Too many ships - what's the problem? You do not have to build everything, you can build the ones you need.
Ships are divided into three types, division by armor: Light, Medium, Heavy. Find out what armor the ship can have either in the description or in the name of the ship. Before the name there are labels, for Light - (•), for Medium - (••), for Heavy (•••).
In addition, the ships are divided according to their efficiency against a certain armor.
For example; Corvette and Ulan against light armor, Interceptor (heavy Corvette) and Andromeda against medium armor, Missile Cruiser and Attack Plane against heavy armor.

Tiamat is a ship with medium armor, so the Missile Cruiser against it is not very effective. Against the Monolith, the effectiveness of the Cruiser is great, but in any case, the more Cruisers the faster they destroy the enemy and at the same time there will be less of their loss.

Mod at first glance seems complicated, but in time you will become more and more clear. In the ..\C2-FWF\Addition\ folder, there are a lot of tutorials and instructions in pictures that will help you to understand how everything works in the game.

Hi AllGrey !
I am Frank Reif writing from Germany.I play version 7.7.7 hard AI
I have some questions to you about the AI.
1. The AI don't build the capital ships:Mantis-Trilobite,Terran-Defender Heavy Dreadnoughts or Heavy Battleships. The AI build only the vanilla(basic)ships from the basic conquest game!!! Some of the new smaller ships which can be build in the light shipyard are also not build, and no Admiral Capital ships which can be build in the Academy or Warlordtraining etc.!!! Also the AI don't build the heavy defense platforms Tendril and Termitary or the Terran Radar!
What ships or platforms the Solarians don't build I haven't tested yet but I think they also don't build the Capital-ships etc.
2. If an AI-Admiral lose his ship, often the Admirals-shuttle stand still
until the AI-Admiral was killed instead of flee and take a new Flagship immediately!!!

Can you solve this problems ?

Hi Franky! Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately AI works by its own algorithm, which is compiled in the file Mission.dll, the format of this file can not be edited. For AI, there is no way to change anything, without the source code for the game. The developers did not release the source code for CFW. The problem with Admirals-shuttle is also observed in the original game, this is the developers' omission.

Now I have download and tested your 8.0.2 hard AI! Wow ! Very good ! Very hard fight (10 hours) and I almost lost!!
Maybe I have an idea how we can outsmart the AI so that the AI builds the admiral ships. Is it possible with your editor to change the shipyard where the capital ships are being built? The Admiral ships are built in the Academy, Warlord training or Citadel. Is it possible with your editor to have the Admiral ships built in the heavy shipyard, Niad or Greater Pavilion ?

Hi Franky! To very much regret, I can only change the technical characteristics of ships and platforms. New units can only be created by the player. AI uses its own algorithm for creating units and their behavior, which I can not edit. So, to force the AI to build Flagships we can not do. As I said, for this need to have the source code of the game.
Yes, 10 hours of combat, it was supposed to be an epic battle)).
Strategy advice, at the beginning of the game, make more bet on defense, build a lot of defensive stations, they are built faster, cost less and technical characteristics better than analog ships. When protection is reliably formed, then you can gradually accumulate fleets for counter-attack. This strategy provides an opportunity to fight even 2-3 heavy opponents, different races who are in the same team.

because this mod adds many things that i thought where missing balances the game more and in my opinion makes this game alot more replayalbe than it was normally
