A massive rip in the in the very fabric of reality was caused inadvertently by the Scrins use of their rift weapon. This anomaly would eventually be known has the Dimensional rift. The effects were devastating, the time line was shattered and suddenly people, events, vehicles even buildings suddenly ceased to exist. Suddenly both GDI & Nod had vastly altered armies. Old technology was mixed in with the new, briefly the war was suspended, has both armies struggled to come to terms with both their loses and their new additions. And what of the Scrin? completely unaffected! It was 3 weeks after the dimensional rift that the first skirmish occurred. Nod forces destroyed a relief convoy that was moving to assist a small GDI outpost, all personnel were lost. Belatedly GDI declared war on Nod, the tools of war may have change, but Tiberium was still present, Kane still alive and mankind's future still uncertain.

Yes, 7 of these or 4 Juggernaughts deployed around my base, and I would just forget about deffending and keep attacking, thats how awsome arty was on TS.

Considering youre talking about firestorm those were **** since they miss moving targets and units can just walk right up to them and kill them.

These are some really nice units, Im loving the throwback to the old eras! Are there any plans to separate Tib Dawn and Tib Sun era units into seperate subfactions? Sorry if that question comes across as a bit candid, I only just recently followed the mod

I prefered the Tib Dawn arty, but this model is just delicious.
Do we have to unpack it to fire like in Tib Sun? It would be sweet if thats the case, like that GDI vehicle that deploys in the original C&C3;.

At first glance the pivotpoint of the maingun looks like it has to deploy to achieve a plausible fire arc. Otoh the ai concerning specialpower like deploying is a pain. The juggernaught style auto deploy code might be the best/easiest choice. It would be abit sad to have a great arty piece that wont be used (correctly)by a skirmish ai because it doesnt understand when to deploy and undeploy manually.

i see you went with the TS arty, nice! i liked these guys a lot.
i assume it'll behave like a kw spectre. i'd mentioned to madin about the awkwardness of the m110 sliding around all the time. it was a nice unit but it behaved silly.. the TS art was more powerful tho.

there is prob ways you could cheat the ai to work around manual deploying... because a manual deploy would make you use the units differently, like emplacements rather than hit and run or w/e.

the one issue with having separate TD and TS era factions is they'd not be able to balance very well. ts units would have a huge advantage (except for the ssm).
