In 1986, after the end of World War III, time travel was outlawed globally. The Allied Nations and the Soviet Union both signed pact eliminating use of time travel devices due to the imbalances it would cause the world. As a result, Einstein's Time Machine, that changed the tide of the war against the Soviets and Yuri's Army, was locked up tight in a Vault in Area 51, never to be touched again...

In 2047, Area 51 was deserted, as it sat deep in the Nevada Yellow Zone. The base was scavenged by Forgotten Mutants but the Vault remained untouched. Violent Ion Storms have recently been forming in the area due to the increasing amounts of Tiberium gas in the skies over Nevada. Nobody has any records how it happened, but a storm triggered the Time Machine to activate violently. Using old Chrono technology and highly unstable, the machine couldn't take the voltage running through it, far more voltage than what was used in San Francisco. A Chrono Vortex opened up, taking everything in the base into it. Fueled by the storm, the Vortex continued to grow until it was to the point where the whole planet was in its grasp. Distorted by time, Earth vanished, only for a moment...

Earth re-emerged, the Vortex merged the timelines of the past, all the events and wars fought over centuries suddenly started crossing over. Cyborgs were seen slaughtering Soviet's in New York, strange green crystals were overtaking Italy by the masses, Japan was showing signs of hostility toward nations across the globe, and high concentrations of signals in the upper atmosphere were being identified as spacecraft. Everything was out of place, nothing was right. Commander, welcome to the Collision Course Conflict. He who controls the past commands the future, He who commands the future, conquers the past...

Essentially, I've been far too caught up with other daily tasks like work and school, and I can't find time to work on this. The other issue is that just being me developing this mod is really inefficient, I can sketch concepts and write info all day long, but there's tasks I don't have much knowledge of doing. The only other option to that is starting a dev. team and that's going to be a hassle, attempting to find people that are capable and willing to help out. Just with the way its all been laid out over time, it seems like a great idea for an enjoyable mod but I picked the wrong time to start. As of now, I'm archiving this and probably won't return unless I'm certain I and hopefully a few others can make up for a very apparent lack of progress. Sorry about the mess folks.

May be, you would mix soviet RA3 and RA2 style of structers, weapons, vehicles, etc?

Soviets will actually use RA3 MCV's and Con-yard's since they fit better with the C&C 3 Yards. As will the Allied and Empire. As for units, I don't plan on bringing many back as they are pretty goofy and I prefer RA2's. But I did pick a few.

RA2's were also goofy. Giant squids and flying discs are serious?

LOL. Good luck modding a game that cannot be modded. If i were you i'd start porting stuff to one of the SAGE games. Generals 2 will be F2P with a huge dependency of DLC releases for it's cash part. Do you really think EA will be that stupid to make it moddable ...

I don't have so much information on the game's abilities involving mods. If that's the case then I'll move onto SAGE.
