Just like Kane's Vision, this mod aims to perfect the gameplay experience of Kane's Wrath. With countless new faction unique upgrades and units, this is a comprehensive overhaul of this already great game. Every change that was introduced in this mod was with quality gameplay in mind and do justice to the lore of the factions. Furthermoe, One Vision is keen on maintaining the game's high visual level and improve upon it wherever possible.
In 0.75 the "Ionizing Hull" has been remade into the "Ion Supercharge" upgrade. On top of ion storms affecting structures, this upgrade further upgrades Gun Walkers to make them shoot bolts of lightning.
This gives Gun Walkers not only increased damage but further allows to charge up structures and aircraft.
Therefore, Gun Walkers can be used to heal aircraft or structures and increase their armor temporarily.
It appears that Gun Walkers with this upgrade still shoot friendly air units down.
Their attack do add a very short storm bonus on the targets, but the damage is far more significant.
So when I tried to heal my own Devastators with upgraded Gun Walkers, the Devastators died faster. XD
The next version will feature a reworked system which is more similar to Corruptors.
The main thought behind the current mechanic was that you cannot spam gunwalkers to make aircraft unkillable, but it's just not very user friendly as it is.
If you shoot with only one Gunwalker, it should slowly heal the unit. If you take more gunwalkers, the damage will be greater than the healing effect.
I remember in red alert 2&3 you use the tesla trooper to power up the tesla coils. that was so awesome when i found out, why didn't EA do that with the scrin, never mind it's here again can't wait to start using that unit, thanks :)
