One improvement I'm making - when you touch either cube, the HUD removes any 1pv weapon display and puts up the cube dialog. Not only will this relieve the server of some text display duties (which dont need to be network traffic...) but you can tell you are linked to a cube easily.

The morph cube is kind of obvious - if you have enough power, it puts up the selection dialog. The pk cube on the other hand has no such indicator. And you need to know - when linked to a pk cube, primary fire opens the cube. But you must be in range - once out of range, you cant open the cube OR fire other weapons. Without selecting another weapon anyway.

I might change this design choice, or provide an option.
You can - a: link to a cube until you release it - but not fire weps out of range or - b: link to a cube, but if you fire out of range it releases it and fires your weapon. Decisions decisions.
