C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

I'm really impressed of ALL your renders: you don't make it more difficult than necessary and uses the same model types as the original game. As you have said before SHW is more like a XP than a toral conv., which I love! :D Keep up the good work!

Well, it technically IS an expansion. It's just our expansion is like x20 bigger than Zero Hour (prolly more) in terms of new units and stuffs.

And it's not just new units, there's actually some very interesting new upgrades and gen powers in the next patch. :)

it's great but my only concern is that, will have the side effect of the gattling tank as being the one unit in my chinese force that has the shortest life span.
seriously, the AI loves targeting them even if there at the rear of a huge assault

Thats very SWEET!!!
The road grinder wasen't cool enough but it was fast and a good transporter unit thou. This should be the suitable replacement for the Road Grinders job. Welldone Hunter.

Actually, we got rid of the Road Grinder mainly because it was rather OP. If you hadn't noticed, we weakened a lot of Fai's things; he was one of the beastliest generals in .93.

I don't see the point of having two infantry spot if they can't shoot out. if anything it should hold the same # of units or none since they can't shoot out.

The reason that this thing replaced the Road Grinder is because the RG was extremely OP. 4 of Fai's 1337 inf in a vehicle was fairly good AA and that is fast? : pure death.

then they should have ditched the over expensive and weak assault troop crawler.. it wasn't a decent support vehicle and costed a arm & leg for online play.. then it would make the road grinder rebalanced again (this is all just an assumption.. lol)...

Description

Though Fai's Road Grinder was a formitable force, it did not have the armor that Fai wanted to fight off infantry and aircraft as well as protect the troops inside. Fai wanted something that had the armor of the Gattling tank, but the speed and transport ability of the Road Grinder. He launched a program to replace the aging vehicle, and this was the result: the Gattling APC. It's a lot faster than the Gattling tank and has a lot more armor than the Road Grinder. Although it can still carry troops, it can now only carry 2 and those troops will be unable to fire out of the vehicle.
