This mod is for all the players frustrated with the cartoony nature of Zero Hour units and buildings. We intend to replace every fanciful unit in Zero Hour with its closest possible real world equivalent, without changing the unit's capabilities.
Upgrading our current F-15 model to have both lower poly count and higher fidelity. Includes cockpit with pilots, instrumentation and HUD.
Note: Unit skin and model not in final state.
Wow! Nice! that detail!
I'm seriously looking forward to this more than any other Zero Hour mod.
Keep up the total pro work, guys.
I would like to extend my sincerest apologies that the mod is not currently as cool as it will eventually be.
I feel your pain, Kemosabe.
I've got my own project going that's taking quite a bit of time as well.
Can't wait to see where this will go, though!
Very nice work on the F-15E. I'm just curious though which F-15E Fighter Squadron did you choose to base this F-15E off ?
The reason I am wondering is because it appears to have the European style color scheme RAF Lakenheath seen with the F-15C Eagle's operating from there.
No particular squadron in mind. I figured the two-character decal on the vertical stabilizers might signify U.S. state of origin/base (yes, probably wrong); but since I've got some distant ancestry from Missouri, I decided to go for "MO".
That's correct. Fighter Aircraft use a Two Character Decal with the Initials of their Operating Base/Airfield. For example aircraft operating out of RAF Lakenheath have LN (LakeNheath). However it's different with American bombers. For example B-52H's operating out of Barksdale AFB, La have LA as their Two Character Decal in this case indicating the State or in other cases the same Initial of the Operating Airfield (ex B-1B with DY indicating Dyess AFB, Texas).
AWESOME!
Dat f15
Have you done the infantry yet? I'd like to see some of them
Bravo!
i will use more plane :D wa-haha
NOT IN ITS FINAL STATE?!
It looks amazing!
The F-15E will still have some minor skin tweaks to fill in detailing and weaponry will be mounted under the wings. The overall skin may also be darkened somewhat.
