This mod is for all the players frustrated with the cartoony nature of Zero Hour units and buildings. We intend to replace every fanciful unit in Zero Hour with its closest possible real world equivalent, without changing the unit's capabilities.

Can you please stop asking us to add these? You've sent me multiple PMs and posted several times in the comments section. We'll add whichever vehicles are required.
Very nice update. For those who are curious the PLA does indeed use this vehicle as an ECM Vehicle. You will find such examples in the service of the 2nd Artillery of the Peoples Liberation Army Ground Forces.

doctorheredoctor you are an ungrateful , my private messages multiples for you has only two messages and my post in this photo are to improve your mod I really disappoint , im not write never more one mesage in your mod .
Thank you!
lol
Why don't you add tracked vehicle? This unit was meant to be ECM tank, NOT "ECM lorry/truck". =(
Beside, what exactly is this EQ2081 carrying? It looks more like a radio antenna of some sort.
There are currently no PLA tracked vehicles dedicated to electronic counter-measure warfare. The EQ2081 is just the designation of the truck that this vehicle is based upon, the vehicle itself's name is unknown and is only designated as being operated by the Second Artillery for electronic warfare.
Had we gone with a tracked vehicle, it would have been a command vehicle as opposed to actual electronic warfare vehicle.
Additionally, like most of the renders we display here there is likely to be some modification before it reaches the game and the antenna will probably be replaces by a cylinder on a winch, looks better. 4.bp.blogspot.com
The closest example which I recently stumbled upon for an ECM tank is a modification of the MT-LBu in Chinese service:

Eh, only jams comms. Still, would have preferred this over the one I just finished.
The MT-LB with R-330 were part of the Tor-M1 package when they were sold to China in 1990's.
The ECMs in your third pic (the one with Tor-M1), interestingly, were using domestic Chinese ECM systems instead of original R330 in the package(to be honest, the Russians are never famous because of their electronics). If you see your third pic carefully, you will see a 6x6 WZ-551 ECM vehicle with the same ECM system in the right of the MT-LB in the pic. This further demonstrated the versatility of MT-LB platform (it can even use foreign ECM system), and in my opinion, I would prefer ML-LB with that domestic Chinese ECM (in the Tor-M1 pic) as the ECM tank replacement, or at least that WZ-551 platform (you already had its model). A Dongfeng truck is not really designed to take shots and survive.

As long as it can deflect missiles.. ;)
MT-LB and MT-LBu are two different vehicles with different roles. The MT-LBu (Object 10) is the vehicle actually pictured:

Whereas the MT-LB is a different vehicle and China is not operating the MT-LB only the MT-LBu.
Yes the MT-LBu was part of the Tor package. It is designed to support the Tor M1's hence it's role to jam enemy communications and disrupt enemy communications.
As for the MT-LBu being the ECM Tank I would have also preferred that however the current choice is fine as well.
doctorheredoctor if you are still interested in this vehicle I'd be happy to provide further blueprints/photos.
Yeah I thought the only tracked vehicles recommended were all command vehicles.
NICE!
Its look awsome great work :D
Brilliant, just brilliant. I really like the ladder. :D Your attention to detail is.....exquisite!
Lovely truck :)
"Jam their frequencies!"
