BTB airlines mod for Serious Sam: The Second Encounter

I want to play it online, but it seems there no servers. Too bad, because mod is G.R.E.A.T. It even includes scelethal animation! I played it with my friend over LAN/modem several years ago and it was very fun. Magnetic mines is the main feature of the mod, but it would be better if they remained for a longer period of time.

Anyway if anyone wants to play it through Internet just write here. Maybe I could host a server sometimes.

Is anyone actually still playing this ?

This mod is awesome, more people should play it.

Is somewere any additional maps to this mod? I didn`t find any. -sorry for my eng..

It was really a fun experience to work on this mod. We had tons and tons of fun testing out various things, and discovering all the things that weren't initially planned, but are side-effects of the implemented physics. I'll list just some of them(if you still haven't figured em out):

car(nissan) + lots of magnetmines(repel) in the back = nice boost

magnetmine(repel) + magnetmine(attract) placed directly beneath you (you must be quick) = you hover in the air

These are just some of the fun things you can do.

BTB airlines is now a far past for us, in one moment we were planning to make a stand-alone sequel to it, but life took us in separate directions(and our coder was hired by a gamedev studio, so modwork can get you places :P )

Well, i cannot believe this is still played after all these years. We would thank all who played this, it makes us glad that we've provided some entertainment to you.

The real shame is that Serious Sam netcode was really restricting and didn't gave our coder(asko) lot of room to do some workarounds. Bad netcode means death to any half-serious mp based mod.

It's also a shame that SS modding community took a quick downfall, all of the projects that had potential were dying really quickly, and only few have made it to actual release.

i only want more weapons and vechs other than that ill play it sounds like fun

Yep thats whats the sad part, such good online mods, the team works their *** off, and only 2 people play :/
