Awesome. :)

Duke Nukem just says what we all said when we started playing Doom back in '94 so it's all good. :)

Same here. Found the texture pack but nothing about the maps. I'm using Doom 2 so I'm not even sure if the Improved Maps Pack would work for me anyways.

The improved map pack hasn't been released yet it's still being made by Sergeant_Mark_IV.

"The map pack is a (still) unreleased revamp of Ultimate Doom maps made by me to add more detail to levels, and Doom 2 and Skulltag monsters and weapons. I will upload these maps soon as I get at least the entire Episode 1 done."

For textures I recommend:
Dengine.net

But since I updated my Skulltag from 2008 I no more have 3D models :/

Me as well do want Metal Pack @@

Edit:

\o/

Edit 2:
A kind of merge with Classic Doom mod music for Doom 3 and some fan remake... And is not the one of the video. So please post it as well :)

Sarge - what's the name of the map pack? I'd love to have it. Anywho... can't wait for this release, I'm loving the test version. ^__^ Keep up the damn good work.

The .wad set is maps he is currently working on. "The map pack is a (still) unreleased revamp of Ultimate Doom maps made by me to add more detail to levels, and Doom 2 and Skulltag monsters and weapons. I will upload these maps soon as I get at least the entire Episode 1 done."

I wouldn't compare the doomguy's oneliners to Duke Nukem's. It is more like some Serious Sam sprinkled with a pinch of Duke Nukem.
Some lines are cool, some are a bit lame, but good to hear an angry marine who is about to go to hell.
If there were other voice packs too! Man!

I like everything except those annoying voice dialog, and the "**** yourself" dumb insolent animation ...

Description

Brutal Doom v0.16 will be oficially released on May 4th
This video shows 15 minutes of gameplay. You can see many new stuff like New voices for Doom Guy (including two buttons to say advance taunts and oneliners) new effects for smoke and sparks when shooting walls, new realistic liquids, many new death animations, new muzle flashes for all weapons, new zombie sounds, ammo counters for all weapons that needs to reload, sort of psychs for zombies when they are killed by explosions, and much more to come.

PS: This video was recorded with an HD Texture pack and Improved Original Maps pack. Both things are not included in Brutal Doom and must be downloaded separately.
PS2: The Doomguy doesn't speaks by himself. The player needs to press buttons to make he say the oneliners. If you don't like his voice, or don't like the idea of a Doomguy talking like if he was Duke Nukem, he can stay totaly silent if you want.
