Don't pick up the Demon Rune unless you want to try it out or you are badly injured. Once the rune expires, you are returned to 100HP/0 Armor no matter what.

I think this is a very fair balance, considering that you will either be able to become a 1000hp tank-like Baron of Hell, or a Revenant that is basically a multiple mobile rocket launcher platform of death for over a minute.

Not worth, totally - playing for some time as these aren't absolutely worth reseting the health and armor to the default state. It doesn't compensate that 100/0, I never pick up that rune because I can't fit in some smaller rooms, can't pick up ammo or other stuff and after that Doomguy is much more fragile.

I have a Suggestion, instead of spawning from soul and megaspheres, make the runes spawn in place of demon strength runes.

Can I also suggest you make it so that the player can fit in smaller rooms? The Player cannot fit into small rooms if their hitbox is too big, and that can break some maps.

Personally, I agree with your point here. You've just transformed into a Baron of Hell. It would make sense that your armour got ripped apart.

Just finished a blast-fest from Entryway to The Pit. Loving this so far Sarge. Not found any drones to update my weapons with or on but (cheated for all weapons) have tested the extras for the Shotgun & Machinegun... Wow! Best thing is, the weapons & gameplay is not as one-sided or overpowered as people have been worried (and sadly b*tching) about.

The Morph-Spheres are brilliant too, I think it's fairer (and more realistic) that you lose the armor too, looking forward to seeing what's coming next. :)

Everything with the demon rune being said, I couldn't agree more. There are just soo many times that a rune can just be a hindrance due to these problems. Personally I try to just avoid them but thats just preference.

I noticed I bad aiming with gun on right side. =)
Without reload very bad. I love reload weapon).
I think this arsenal not suitable for BD. It's only my opinion.

Very beautiful sprites. Very love BFG and RocketLauncher.

ps: I avoid Demon Rune too. I remember when Painkiller added dat Rune with same bug and I avoid always).

Lat I checked on the latest update, PB's demon rune no longer has that bug, like it preserves previous armor and health (plus it can fit anywhere and not get stuck).

Also about Vortex Rifle pickup sprite - once the weapon is in the inventory, it doesn't refill the cells when picked up again, it acts like a simple decoration.

I have been actually tinkering with the DooM ''Fight Like Hell'' mod (same as this one only no akimbo bonanza) adding altfires and mods to weapons such as
Repeater was given an altfire that shoots a magnum round (need a bit balancing right now)
Shotgun burst fire only ***** once after discharge
SSG given altfire that shoot phosphorous rounds (basically a multiple bursts of flamethrower shots) as well it uses revenant ammo to shoot dual shotgun grenades
(Attempt and fail to make the machinegun's missile pod to shoot continuously at the expense of revenant ammo for each round)
Minigun was given altfire that imitates the triple vulcan "accordion minigun" (no spin up and fires 3 times the amount tho heats up and can stall out. Ideas to implement the eriguns script for visible heat counter)
Rocketlauncher was given selectable altfire with impact grenade and a confligration missile shot
Plasma gun was given an pulse shot Altfire that remains on impact for a second to doo more damage as well to use flamer fuel for rapid fireball shots.
Gauss gun was given non ripper explosive shot altfire (can't make scope)
BFG9000 was given small BFG ball shot (tho maybe it could use a beam like attack in retrospect)

Yeah. That's good. For those who don't know, Marcos Abenante aka SgtMarkIV said in the Brutal Doom public Facebook group that ValhallaGameplays(VGP) migrated to a different virtual machine. People were having lag issues, it should be fixed by now.

Found the issue. Renaming the 7 files in the PK3 prefixed "Decorate" to use "DECORATE" instead fixed the issue.

I know, but my problem is that it has to be compatible with Zandronum 2.1.2 because I have a really crappy PC. My on-board graphic only supports openGL 1.2. Zandronum 3 won't run, any GZDoom won't run and ZDoom has no openGL features and looks like sh**.

Test the mods and come back with results. I really reccomend using Zdoom, because many mods require a recent Zdoom version. (G?)ZDoom version that Zandronum 2.1.2 uses is archaic. I would sacrifice those openGL features for playing good mods on Zdoom.

How can I switch between weapon modes? (like shotgun normal/explosive modes or tactical/micro-missile modes in the machinegun) I'd tried all the keys and none of them switch the mode (I have all upgrades in the aforementioned weps so far).

I've done some modifications myself, I'd be glad if someone tried them out since this will be an optional packet included in my mod (Fearrific).

Changes:
Shotgun,Chaingun,Machinegun,SSG: Slightly increased damage
Vortex Rifle: Increased damage when zooming
Plasma Cannon: Doubled damage and ammo consumption
Gauss Cannon: Increased damage (oneshots mancubi), consumes 15 energy/use
BFG: Increased ball size, splash damage and direct damage, nerfed ray damage, consumes 100 cells per use

Intended to be used at maximum difficulty in monster-heavy maps (not exactly slaughtermaps, but one step below).
