This is a concept sub-mod for TATW mod of Medieval Total War. The center faction is Numenor and it's expansion over Arda.
Eyegasm right here. Both continents look really close to each other and Numenor is huge! :D Well, this is a game ad it has it's limitations, and i think we can't get better than this, this is really really good already! :)
initially i used the map from atlas of middle earth I.stack.imgur.com but the land mass was too small for gameplay (for example eriador was 3 times smaller than it is in original TATW). i tested some campaigns and it was virtually unplayable. so the only workaround was either to squeeze the map horizontally or cut some lands. i went for the first option :)
You did an excellent job :) Keep going!
So, if you decide to explore the dark lands with numenorean ships there is no maritime route in the south because the region of far harad cuts the way? or there is more map ? or the factions that are near of the region are the only ones with that privilege?
unfortunately you cannot reach dark lands from numenor via ships. i have an idea though of making a navigable river that crosses far harad from west to east
ahh now that's cool :D. Have you managed how to deal with the destruction of Numenor if they attack the valar? That situation that I recommended to you
You people are true artists, chapeau!
Its masterful! Great work!
Danm! that's a big map! O_O Nice!
Yeah its going to be awesome, huge map,30 factions, full lore books, total war
ABSOLUTELY GREAT! You guys are awesome!!!!!!
Utterly epic and wondrous map. I can't wait to play on it.
Looks awesome. :)
Nice map, but i never see a lake far east (not Sea of Rhun).
what name lake?
it's basically the remainings of the Sea of Helcar. Most of sea dried out and form the sea of mordor and rhun. it is not certain if this lake actually survived though, but i added it due to gameplay reasons. plus it makes the avari elves campaign (starting nearby) much interesting
