Update #26 One Last Stand news - Bleach: Zanpakutou Senshi mod for Half-Life

Plans

Joshua and I have decided to continue working on BZSmod with the goal of releasing the mod this year.
I will not get into the details of our plans, since we still have to review the deadlines and resolve how we will handle animations. It is unfortunate, but we haven't had luck with reaching Angel, the modeller and animator of Grimmjow and Ichigo. We will still attempt to reach him as he isn't the type who goes silent.

Currently we have some pre planing in a gantt chart and so far it seems like the estimates are realistic and reasonable. We also have a gap of time we consider to extend some work, but lets hope that it goes in the other direction.

For one of the maps, Joshua has suggested to use teleporters to compensate for the lack of jumps that are over 9000. We have debated this and came to the conclusion of making a proff of concept after the stun and blocking has been taken care off. So look forward to something "new".

Joshua is also looking at extending the character selection by reskining Grimmjow and Ichigo, meanwhile I will looking into creating a vaporizing effect for deaths, as it could reduce the required animations.

We have considered our options with the animations if we can't get in touch with Angel, for now we will wait and examine a few of our options.
