Originally, we planned to claim the outer space for ourselves. Unrestrained use of every resource and infinite room for all human beings. But then, things did not turn out the way they should have. Nowadays, it seems our planet is the one to be conquered. Earth is in a state of emergency. The human race has been shrunk to a few hundred thousand. Our world is nearly completely destroyed. The area of the Black Sectors is spreading. Nobody knows from where the Wraith came. We know only one thing: They are damned deadly and frigging furious. But today – on July 6th, 2023 – the day has come for mankind to strike back. United Alliance’s government – formed by the heads of states of USA, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, France, Spain, China, Japan and Russia – decided to send the UASC, the United Alliance Special Corps, into the conflict areas to reclaim human habitat. The Wraith are dominating roughly 70% of world’s surface. In the meantime, men fortified in the biggest remaining megacities like London, New York and Tokyo – cut off from the environment, an enclave of fear, strongholds in the manner of forgotten times. Just to prevent human kind‘s last bastion from being annihilated. Play either as a soldier of the UASC in several classes (like Heavy Gunner, Warrior, Light Infantry or Sniper) or get control of the mysterious, unknown Wraith. Battle worldwide in the infested Black Sectors for global dominance. No compromises, no mercy.

RATTLING CHAINS
Hello again, BLACKSECTOR soldiers. Well, we made it up into the Top 100 of the "Mod of the Year" Contest here on ModDB and that's all because of you. It's the first time for us to be in the Top 100, although BLACKSECTOR theoretically exists since 2006. In the next days we could possibly break the 1000 trackers mark and we have about 80.000 visitors since the project started back then. That's simply stunning and i've never expected such a hugefeedback. Anyway, it not that easy to compete with the other great mods here, but we have still something to show to you. This time you can clearly hear the rattling chains...
Instead of showing you some ingame stuff, today i present you a few weapon renders. You have already seen some blank models or even the weapon concepts (by Leevitron), but now you can take a closer look at the textured M3 Carbine and the M328 assault rifle. The M3 Carbine and its variations (flashlight, red dot sight, laser sight, handgun) is the most important basic weapon for the United Alliance Specials Corps (UASC). The M328 combines an assaultt rifle with a strong granade launcher to beat your enemy over near and long distance.
I am very ashamed not to show you some ingame footage, but we are working hard on it. I am personally working with Blacklight (the guy who made the incredible looking Black Mesa Source fan trailer) on our first fully featured trailer. Mirrored will be supporting the trailer with his great soundtrack (Sounds of an upcoming war). So please don't forget to vote again for the Mod of the Year 2009 and bring BLACKSECTOR into the finals of this higly remunerated contest. Thank you so much for supporting us and our mod. It's a third person shooter with a decent aiming system. They got my vote just on that. Not to mention the uber cool models.
This game looks BADASS. Just saying from my experience in games, i'm liking the storyline too. Stubborn humans, thinking we can do whatever. Karma puts us back in our place. I really hope you guys dont drop project cause it looks amazing. Anything you guys might need just tell me, I'm interested in doing anythin you guys might need.

I'm guessing you need episodes 1 & 2 to play? ): and is it multiplayer only or singleplayer?
I believe we are aiming for Episode 2, but I'm not 100% sure. Also it is slated to be released as multiplayer.
