This patch removes all Swastikas from Battlefield: High Definition. This is very important for residents of Germany. Players with v1.0.1 cannot play against players with v1.0, everyone on the server must be on the same version.

Battlefield: High Definition v1.0.1 is available for download on our website, and in our ModDB profile.

Good Question, i would love to know the answer to that.

Some HDR lighting and HD water effects would be nice to. And throw some particles in for good measure.

If they wont release bf1943 why not enhance bf1942 :D

To launch it, click the shortcut in the mod folder. If it still doesn't work, make sure the path is correct in the shortcut's properties, in case you removed the stupid "EA games" subfolder.

Is there any way to remove the debris from broken vehicles? It's really annoying with broken planes covering the landingstrips.

The only way to clear destroyed planes off the airstrip is to get in a tank or jeep and push them off, they move fairly easily.

Unfortunately not. Many of the graphical enhancements have to be done to each map file and the code of each vehicle, so it would not work with a second mod without writing code specifically for the second mod.
