Battlefield: High Definition is a modification for Battlefield 1942. The goal of the mod is to bring as many visual enhancements to the game as possible.
Battlefield: High Definition was developed and tested by Lieutenant Clone (Dennis Robinson) of Beach Assault Studios.
The modification brings the following enhancements to Battlefield 1942:
This patch removes all Swastikas from Battlefield: High Definition. This is very important for residents of Germany. Players with v1.0.1 cannot play against players with v1.0, everyone on the server must be on the same version.
Battlefield: High Definition v1.0.1 is available for download on our website, and in our ModDB profile.

When i load a map they crash and back to desktop, what happen?
You said to copy it into the mods folder in the main battlefield 1942 folder (c:program files/battlefield 1942/mods). Problem is, there was no mods folder. Being a logical person, I created one and followed the instructions but, surprise surprise, it didn't work.

you have to left click the game icon then go to open it in the files
there is one if you have downloaded the road to rome and secret weapons of wwii expansion packs.
