Battlefield: High Definition is a modification for Battlefield 1942. The goal of the mod is to bring as many visual enhancements to the game as possible. Battlefield: High Definition was developed and tested by Lieutenant Clone (Dennis Robinson) of Beach Assault Studios. The modification brings the following enhancements to Battlefield 1942: Drastically increased view distances Increased the rendering quality of the terrain Increased the rendering distance of most vehicles Most vehicles will stay on the map permanently when destroyed Dead bodies remain for five minutes (you will rarely see them dissapearing) Added blood effects Added third person view Many more minor tweaks

will this update the models and weapon textures and stuff like that?
The models and textures are mostly all the same. If I remember correctly, the flag textures are new, but I think that is the extent of it.

Cool This Mods Great. Wonder from the damn old battlefield 1942 ****** up and i need to reinstall it. i hope this mod works great and what i like is more high definition with x models i mean permanently destroy vehicles will stay on the map and blood effects its cool and more realistic with no fog to have clear sights actually i don't like fog in this game because it sucks love the mod though i haven't try it out hope this mod does not **** up my whole Battlefield 1942 game.
As i See in the Picture Fogs remove and more good Graphics I hope you Create more good mods
