BATTLE REALMS: CORRUPTION OF THE LOTUS

The land of the Serpent Empire is in turmoil. Oja, the Lord of the Serpent Clan was murdered and his second son Kenji vanished for his seven years long exile. The alliance between the Lotus and the Serpent is broken and now they are the greatest threat to each other. You are Zymeth, the leader of the Lotus Clan. You must reunite with your most loyal people and restore the clan to it's former glory. Taro, the son of the fallen Serpent Lord is now their leader and the last descendant to the throne of the Oja family. With him dead the clan will perish and the Lotus power will be unstoppable. Defeat all of your opponents and claim the land of Battle Realms for yourself durning Kenji's seven years long absence.

Questions that may be asked and deserve to be answered:

1. Q: What's the reason behind this mod ?

A: The purpose of this mod is to be able to play as the Lotus in the campaign. We never had this opportunity in the original game even though we played as all other clans. I changed that. I made a completely custom campaign with new story and new dialogues to give Battle Realms fans an opportunity to play as the Lotus in the Zymeth's Journey.

2. Q: What's the story in this mod ?

A: This mod tells the story of Zymeth, the leader of the Lotus Clan and the main antagonist of Kenji's campaign. The events of this story take place after Grayback's Journey and before Kenji's Journey. So you should play it right after Winter of the Wolf expansion and before Kenji's Journey. Grayback defeated Yvaine and Kenji is on the exile. Meanwhile the Lotus Clan's influence is raising. Main enemy is the Serpent Clan in this campaign and it will show the downfall of the entire clan which will be visible during Kenji's return.

3. Q: How should I play it ?

A: You require Battle Realms with Winter of the Wolf expansion and my mod and that's it. You just install my mod and you will be able to play it. This campaign replaces the entire Kenji's Journey campaign so make sure to make a backup of the original files (read readme once you download the mod). Once the mod is installed just select Zymeth's Journey when you click new game and campaign will launch. The campaign is very hard especially in the final missions so normal difficulty is advised.

4. Q: Will this mod be developed further ?

A: Yes, this mod is still a work in progress and I hope it will receive frequent updates. I will keep improving it and upload new versions in time.
