BANZAI! is a modification for the game Unreal Tournament 2004.
It aims to be a simple, fun and easy to play game while bringing back the good old fashioned ’side-scroller’ gameplay. Inspired by many different side-scrolling games of old such as Castlevania, Contra, Ninja Gaiden, and Megaman, BANZAI! is a hail back to the old glorious days of 8-bit and 16-bit gaming.
This however does not mean we are limiting the game to the "old school" looks. Our team works hard at creating something that's not only fun to play but also pleasing to the eye.
If you like sidescroller platform games, anime-ish looks (and perhaps even a few puzzle elements ;) )
Then this mod might be something to try out.

As the original first mission was scrapped due to "mapper brain melt down" a new plan has been draw out to start the mod off with more stucture to help us bring it to you out there faster.
as work chuggs along we have had some coding difficulties, that being one of our coders Drakk Lord is very fast and producing a lot of helpful solutions for problems occurred in the mapping phase, while BuZz is learning coding in Ued on the spot and drakk has to help him out aswell as doing the coding for banzai AND correcting any mistakes BuZz makes in his atemps, so progress is slowed right down because Drakk cant do everything single handedly unless we never want a release.
so I am calling upon the public once again, to assist our maxed out coder Drakk Lord with his work load.
We would like a person that can code in Ued and knows what they are doing to a moderate degree, we cant have too many people learning on the spot or Drakks brain may go *pop*
so again, you are our extended eyes and ears, if you know someone who could help get them in contact with me please if you dont know my email already its

lol i still like ut i alway's did, new is my love for anime's this i think is going to be lots of fun for a long long time XD . i find that i usually have must fun with low graphics games, becuase those usually have a better story, or gameplay, ofcourse cod 4 was great, but the storyline was easy to complete, while certain older games, like swat 3 is a game i still wish to play. and yes its old. and i still love games like dynasty woriors 4 altough 5 empires is even better, but my Xbox broke. point is, ike i said, this mod is going to be lots of fun. :) great idea, no bad words from me :)

do mean will the music sound like an old mario or otherwise side scrolling game then the answer isnt clear at this point.
we will most likley be discussing music properly in the coming weeks
