Very versatile unit now, not tied to any role, you can call it in and upgrade it as the situation changes and what you need more. Anti-vechicle unit or anti-infatry unit.

Did you happen to find the redone Infantry Section voicefiles, which have the same lines spoken by the VA who did the Priest? If you haven't, I highly recommend looking for it.

Cool that you mention it, I'll definitely look for that. Do you have any clue yourself? The Canadians do have their own speech file though, but it would be great to have something for the Highlanders.

If I recall correctly it should be under the Priest VA's fileset, given that Relic organized it by the Actor's main unit. If for some reason you're having trouble finding it the easiest thing to do would be to quickly snag N44 and open any of the Canadian Infantry unit's files. They're all tied to that last time I checked.

Description

Canadian Infantry received a full overhaul to make them fit more into the Commonwealth Infantry design.

Description:
"Canadian Infantry are solid vanguard Infantry. Can be equipped with Flamethrowers, Bren Light Machine Guns or PIATs. Can use Sprint, Button Vehicle or Ambush depending on squad specialization."

Changes:
*Can now be upgraded with Flamethrowers, Bren Light Machine Guns or PIATs.
*No longer have "Riflemen Elite" infantry armor.
*Can construct Barbed Wire, Sand Bags and Trenches.
*Can use Sprint, Button Vehicle or Ambush depending on squad specialization.
*Call-in cost set to 380 manpower.
*Can no longer plant Demolition Charges.
*Received new unit icon, symbol and portrait.

These changes go together with the full redesign of the Royal Canadian Artillery commander tree:

right: Supercharged Artillery Shells (2) > Counter Battery (2) > Ammunition Resupply (2)
left: Canadian Infantry (2) > Mechanized Recon (2) > M7 Priest (4)
bottom: Forward Observation Officers (2) > Creeping Barrage (2)

Note: The Campaign version of Canadian Infantry are slightly different, where instead of the PIAT upgrade they get a Boys Anti-Tank Rifle upgrade.
