yeah. the plan is if they do some "Lend Lease" research from the Corps HQ they'll gain access to the tech. since the primary mission of Escaudron 201 was ground attack missions I'm going to be adding a bomber variant of the P-47. the Philippines won't have much in the way of bombers so it makes sense.

right now, in WW2 mode, I've made a compromise: the Philippines, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Norway, and Yugoslavia are all neutral countries. this means that they will fight back against anybody that attempts to invade them. Axis or Allied, it doesn't matter. they'll fight back.

we already had so many Allied nations that it seemed a bit unfair to simply hand all of the minor and neutral nations to the Allied team as well. since I can't have more than 16 sides at a time on the WW2 map this seemed like the best solution.

Australia
Minor Nations (see list above)
United States
Great Britain (India defensive armies in Far East)
Soviet Union
Germany
Japan
Nationalist China
Hungary
Finland
Netherlands
France
Canada
Poland (I've added a Czech defensive army to Southern Poland)

Description

a long time ago I did some research on the possibility of a faction for Mexico. the research demonstrated that it wasn't really worth the effort for only minor gains in the WW2 map.

however, now that the Philippines exists as a unique faction-- I've decided to add in a Mexican Air Force airbase featuring P-47s. players would have to do tech research before these could be recruited.

the skins are not historically accurate-- but I couldn't create the historical asymmetrical wing markings on our existing model. (Mexican roundel on one wing, the United States roundel on the other).
